A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship. But it is not this day. An hour of wolves and shattered shields when the age of Men comes crashing down! But it is not this day! This day we fight! By all that you hold dear on this good Earth, I bid you stand! Keep the Blue Flag Flying High!

Bate makes the bench!

I don’t know who he is. I wonder if he’s a master of it...

A slight but combative midfield player with an eye for a defence-splitting forward pass, Bate played six times for our Under-18s in his first season as a scholar. He has represented England up to Under-17 level, most recently at last 2018's European Championship finals.

He signed his first professional contract with Chelsea in October 2019 and made his development squad debut against Tottenham in January 2020, after appearing regularly for the under-19s in the UEFA Youth League campaign first featuring against Valencia in September of the previous year. In total, Bate made 28 appearances and scored four goals throughout the season.

I'm not Girouds biggest fan but not sure why he's dropped for this one

Rested, it's a very hard schedule at the moment so players fitness is going to matter, especially the older players.

Sheff utd v chelsea  ,i recall when we last played them at bramell lane  ,it was a last game of the season and quite a few

chelsea fans were staying in donny before the game and after it .So i ran a coach to the ground from donny and back to donny after the game .

god knows what happened to the coach after the game as i got back to donny with  chelsea lad called boxer who lived in Wimbledon .

This is not a game to rest Giroud. Next game at home to Norwich makes far more sense. Sheffield United are great defensively and Tammy does not have the first touch or hold up play which Giroud brings. Could be a long evening.

Please prove me wrong Tammy.

Win or win today. I hope for a win. Maybe a loss. Possibly a draw. Maybe. Maybe.

Are you sure there isn't a fourth option ? Suspension of the match perhaps? Maybe?
