I would go something similar but as Kante already ruled out, bring in Mount for his energy and pressing and he's due a goal.

Agreed re Mount.

If we're gonna sit back and get them on the break Giroud is not the best player for that. Tammy is not in form but at least he's got the pace.

Didn't realise kante was missing out. Yes that's the switch I would do. 

Ever since Bruno joined them they played more of a possession based game, so I’m unsure letting them have the ball will nullify their strength.

It seems impossible for us to beat them this season, so annoying. It’s almost like a monkey on our backs now, we need to beat them eventually.

Giroud would work as he can act as a focal point, hold up the ball against the defence and bring the players breaking in to play. In fact that’s one of his main strengths. Tammy is pretty rubbish at that on the other hand.

United are perfectly set up with their front 3 to take the piss on the counter against what is Chelsea’s worst defensive season since 96-97. On paper it looks like a probable 4th defeat to them this season. Bet more than a few Gooners had that feeling before KO today about City’s high press and passing threat.

still think the gameplan will need perfect execution to win tomorrow and the front 3 will need to take their chances cus United can defend again now , hope it’s an all London final then.  Hope Cabarello plays he’s pretty over the hill but a better option than the schoolboy  

 

The 3 matches vs United have been head scratchers so far. Don’t think we have even scored one goal on this lot.

I feel Spurs, Leicester, and City are superior to United and yet we have failed to threaten them this year.

Maybe this will be the match that changes everything.

We seem to defend well when it matters most, so let us hope we start today then carry that over into the Liverpool game, please. Another FA cup "upset" would be great.

Unless our defence and midfield shows up this could be an embarrassment. Frank hasn't got a clue at the moment in terms of game management as all he wants to do is play attacking football, which is fine against weak defensive opponents which you can outscore but, Utd are not one of those teams. They have improved since the break with the return of their injured players both defensively and in midfield.  If we take our chances and they have an off day then we might squeak through...here's hoping anyway. 

The selection of beers available was so bad I haven’t bought any. The bastards took all the Hobgoblin out of the deal too. Not good preparation for the game at all. 

Lol we've only managed to score 1 goal against them in 3 matches so far this season. An aggregate of 8-1 I believe. We seem to play well against the likes of Liverpool but totally clueless when it comes to united.
