50m would be daft for a goalkeeper who has less than 12 months left on his contract. I would say 30m tops.

The Donnarumma story is probably just a smoke and mirrors ploy to help the negotiation with Rennes for Mendy ....

 

Wouldn't mind getting Donnarumma. We need competition for Mendy. 

He has been my pick for a long time now. The problem is that PSG is also interested and I'm not sure what we can offer that they can't.

I've read that we wanted him last year and would jump to having him in summer,with Mendy being number our 2,but its looking more unlikely now and we will promote Ziger.

Would be insane if we got him on a free transfer.

Sadly seems like he will extend his contract with AC Milan... They are currently the first team in Serie A so, with that in mind I guess our chances of signing Tonali are also down to 0.

I just don't believe we'd sign him considering his agent

If we wanted him he wouldn't be extending in my opinion

I disagree, he's a childhood Milan fan (fanatical fan aswell) and it's easy to forget this in recent years but Milan are all things considered the second biggest club in the world behind Real.

Would have been hard enough to get him before but now they look like they're starting to challenge again it's next to impossible unless the club f**k him off.

AC Milan wants him to sign a new contract so it's 99.9% secure that he's staying since they are currently the best team in Serie A.

Second biggest club after madrid? What are you basing that on?? Fanbase? No. Wealth? No. Recent success? Definitely not. 

It's not the 90s anymore. We'd pay Donnarumma double what AC Milan will and he would have a bigger global profile. 

 

 

I closely follow Milan and there is no chance to sign. Not even 1%, he is committed to Milan and will sign a Ne contract soon. 

Mino Raiola is his agent so all bets are off.

My guess is Argo is basing it off AC Milan being the second most successful club in the Champions League behind only Real Madrid.

Recent rumors say that we are in talks about signing him for free, Donnarumma still didn't sign a new extension with AC Milan.

But we're not the only ones, Man United and PSG apparently also want to sign him.

I have nothing against Mendy but Donnarumma for free would be a huge signing...

News say that he rejected the new contract from AC Milan and that Marina has the offer ready for his agent! EPIC!

Mendy has been really good so im more than happy to stick with him. I see the attraction in Donnarumma though, young, free transfer, great ability, and with high potential, but unless we get Kepa out of the door and off the wage book, I dont think we can afford to spend so much on keepers. 

Apparently Lille are selling Maignan (their GK) to Milan and Donnarumma wants 10 millions/year. Juve and Paris are favorite to sign him.

Navas has signed a contract extension with PSG. 

Us and Juventus surely the most likely destination if he does leave Milan... 

I follow Milan upclose since it was the team I used to watch growing up before the PL appeared on TV here (or streams) and believe we would be better staying far away from Donnaruma and his oh so lovely agent.

While he isn't a bad keeper at all, I don't think he's a major upgrade on Mendy, especially for 10M/Year (+ the renewal threats every single year). If he's doing that with his boyhood club, which he loves so much and is finally getting back to a good level, what's not to stop him doing the snake move and leaving Marina out there to find another Kepa in two or three years time.

At wages like that, even as a free agent, I'd like to be comfortable knowing we're set in the GK department for a decade, but just can't see him sticking around for more than 3 years unless something drastically changes in his behaviour. 

I like Mendy. Give Mendy the spot until someone who can dislodge him come along. Personally, imo 2 good goalkeepers fighting for the same spot never turn out well.

Then later Cech and Courtois. 

Generally though quality keepers don't want to stick around playing second fiddle for too long. 

Just got trashed by Lazio 3-0, who are challenging Milan for a CL spot. 

Milan defence was a complete mess but he could've done better on the 2nd and 3rd goals... Worst of all is that after the game he's laughing around with Lazio players after a humiliating defeat to a CL rival... As a captain he really should be doing better than that.

Gotta admit, I really dislike him as a person and his whole Raiola circus.
