This is a smart line up, never show people your strongest possible team from the get go. Allows Werner time to learn his tactics and relieves some pressure on him.

Playing CHO over pulisic shows he does value form. In the same breathe Giroud over Tammy shows he won't just play a player in form but the right player for a specific team. Should be an interesting game

Nice to see Havertz potentially supporting the striker...early days of course but hopefully we might begin to see what this kid can do.

If you think about it the one academy player that is picked by our German manager is the one who was heavily wanted by the most famous German club, the reat disposed off to the bench or worse.

True but often it was either Jorginho, Havertz, or Kovacic playing that was identified as the weak link in those cases. Now we have all 3 playing in the same mid. May be a high scoring game.

I like the lineup! I like that Pulisic and Werner start on the bench. Sends a message to the whole team.  Meritocracy!  

Only Thing With Kovacic And Jorginho Is If Either Start Wandering Then We Will Be Overrun In A Heartbeat, But You Never Know, New Manager New Set Of Results Hopefully

It was the whoever else that often seemed to leave us lacking in defensive cover. That being said Wolves are less physical in midfield than some teams.
