January 27, 20215 yr Good to see he has picked plenty of favorite targets on here for the "Get him off" comments ?

Who knows but extremely frustrating to see a path back into the starting XI for senior players immediately when the likes of James and Mount in particular have more than earned their stripes. It's the path of picking tried and tested in hopes of instant results as we've seen time and again with the manager churn we have.

January 27, 20215 yr CHO is pretty capable of defending. He is pretty good at everything. Really hoping he gets a run of games here.

January 27, 20215 yr So is it all Jorginho’s fault until Alonso gets on or do we blame the whole thing on Rudiger now and be done with it?

I think Tuchel sees it as a safe option leaning towards senior players after knowing them for a couple of hours.

You’re welcome. brilliant .

January 27, 20215 yr Wonder if Pulisic had been fit if CHO would have played. Hope this isn’t the end of the youth getting a chance. Also Frank got plenty of stick for playing people that are in the side tonight. I hope the usual suspects turn up to moan at Tuchel
January 27, 20215 yr Some controversy in his team selection, no Mason whose not in need of a rest btw, the useless Alonso on the bench. Havertz as number 10. You know what they say “the proof of the pudding is in the eating”. Let’s hope Mr Tickle is a dab hand in the kitchen then! 2-1 to CHELSEA !

January 27, 20215 yr I can see this formation naturally turning into a 4-2-3-1 with CHO playing further forward and Azpi having to fill in at RB.
January 27, 20215 yr I could propose 20 line-ups and I didn't hit that one. Azpi will have a lot of work to do this match. It will be a game of possession, let's hope for more creativity and verticality, more balls between the lines. Let's see how it ends, we need a win like air.
January 27, 20215 yr 13 minutes ago, 2211 said: Not anything like the line up I expected, probably gone for experience as he has only had 1 training session with the squad. Don't think we can read too much into this line up. Let's hope he gets off to winning start! I think we can read loads into his line up. Oh, if only, if only, there were fans in the stadium tonight.
