You know, this is why I still think our 2012 season of winning the CL was better. We played worse football that season, but the character, the heart, the passion of those players are far superior to the squad that won the CL last season.

Pep really messed up in this final. He tinkered with his lineup and shouldn't have. But just sticking to his guns, he would have won this final.

I'm so happy that I got to see Chelsea (the club) win the CL, SC and CWC within the last 365 days. But most of these players? Eh.

The SC it went to penalties and it was like a toss of the coin and we just happened to win the toss. CWC we struggled hard and just about crossed over the line after ET.

I've always said for years these players are not good enough. Why is Alonso still here for example? Outright below average player with 1 spark a season.

These players do not deserve to have all these honours. They think they have done it all already. Absolutely fuming.

Pep let us in a couple times because of the lack of a DM but they were extra dangerous because of it, there were many situations where we defended fantastically and that is credit to the players. Christensen came on and had the game of his life. You can't take anything away from them that night, they wanted it and got it with a nigh on perfect performance.

We also deserved to win unlike in 2012 where we got lucky throughout the run.

That is what I'm saying. He gambled, and he lost. If he did have a DM, we wouldn't have the time and space that we had and I doubt we will see a goal that Havertz scored. That was a huge mistake from Pep, because if Pep kept it tight at the back, there's no way we would have broken their defence.

Luck got involved, but that luck would not have existed if the players did not give 150% on the pitch. They did everything they could. Barca and Bayern Munich were at the top of their game. This current squad would have ZERO chance.

If he played his normal lineup, we still would've swatted away their chances but created less ourselves. In all likelihood it would have went to extra time and we would never know what the strategy would have been at that point to guess what would have happened.
Pep did revert back to normal after 60 odd minutes and the game was still cagey, you can't say that we were there for the taking, don't forget at that point and a bit into the next season, we were probably the best defensive side in Europe and conceded very few goals.

You would have still fancied City to just creep over the line. But the point is, if City stuck to their guns they would not have lost in the first 90 minutes of football.

We weren't there for the taking, but City players are far more quality than ours. You would fancy them to beat us IF Pep started with a DM. What I'm saying is, we did play well in the final but that's because Pep made a stupid error not starting a DM and taking a risk. He was probably thinking our attack was so sh*te so he didn't need one at the beginning. He was wrong, and every City fan would tell you Pep made a huge oopsie there. Reverting back to normal after 60 minutes is too little too late.

Finally the title has been taken from us thankfully it was Real Madrid and not the inbreds from Liverpool

Last year we defeated 3 of the top 4 in Spain to win the CL, this season RM beat the top 3 in England to win the CL.

LOL - we never seem to do anything by the book!

Annoying as it was, he did still play his part.
