Romelu Lukaku back to Chelsea - and gone again!

Google search puts his current weight at 103kg, way too heavy, do they have to make special shirt sizes for the useless lump?

As a fat man I find this post very offensive but can I also say that an xxl would probably be best with the current shirts (xl’s can be a little tight around the fronties).

He's overweight according to a simple BMI calculation which might not be ideal since every individual is different but considering that he's a professional athlete it's pretty bad.

"He's big

He's round

He cost 100million pounds

Romelu,  Romelu"

Second verse.

"He's big

He's round

His a$$ drags on the ground

Romelu, Romelu"

But at least you're not useless! You're a great cat gif promotor, not to mention a prominent member of the forum Sock Party.

Looking back at it signing him in 2011 made no sense either. We were looking at nimble technical players and until Jose returned trying to build a team around those ideals, even the one's that didn't work (Marin) made sense in theory.

He would have stood out for the wrong reason's just as much in a team involving Hazard, KDB, Oscar, Mata and young Azpi as he does in this one, if not more so.

Sigh, not like I don't hate him enough but it will probably be a lot more if he gets Tuchel sacked 😪

Unlikely, I'm pretty confident regardless of the Lukaku situation TT will have the backing of the board

So long as he keeps winning things.

Winning the club world cup is all I care about for now. Further along the line we can look at other trophies for this season.

Really though aside from winning things I just want attractive clinical attacking football. That is what TT needs to focus on and do more than anything else right now. Yes the players need to take some part of the blame but having so many attackers out of form is getting ridiculous.

Anyone here do Duolingo? One of the latest adverts portrays Lukaku steaming into a pile of vegetarian sausages. “Everyone knows a banger”, goes the blurb. Yes we certainly do!

So there you have it, while he should have been banging ‘em in, darling Romelu’s been stuffing his face, with veggie sausages - fried of course

Who ate all the sausages?

Who ate all the sausages?

Who ate all the sausages?

Lu, lu, lu lu, Lukaku

Lu, lu, lu, lu,Lukaku

Winning that would be huge for us, last time as European champions we couldn't do it and if we miss out this time it could impact Tuchel's confidence in the squad, it should be an easier title to win this season and that would take away some pressure on him as well.

The way we're playing I would be very happy with winning the club World Cup and finishing top 4 in the league.

Apparently we are determined to keep playing him regardless of performance, no matter what. Coming from  our assistant coach, whether that is Roman or TT driven or both:

Well judging from the recent strikers we had, whoever kept playing them when it wasn't really working it didn't turn out to be beneficial, Conte kept playing Morata and it didn't really work out, Lampard kept playing Werner and that also didn't really work out. Very high probability that Lukaku simply ends the season in an underwhelming fashion.

The more he plays the less sympathy I'll have for Tuchel when he inevitably squanderes his fantastic work.

Hopefully the penny drops before it's too late.

Don't think there's any surprise why we keep playing him. His price tag is one reason. Spending 100m on a player and then putting him on the bench  makes little sense. Even if by now we realized the transfer was a huge mistake how are we supposed to unload him in the summer unless he regains some sort of form and starts performing between now and June. Plus, it's a bit of politics within the club. Just like the saying goes, victory has many fathers, failure has none. I don't know who was the driving force behind that transfer but now these people look like mugs and if Tuchel gave his approval, they'll question his judgment because he's an easy target. TT will probably be made a scapegoat anyway just to deflect the blame, they'll say he's not using Lukaku properly, doesn't know how to get the best out of him, the usual crap. The manager knows he's under pressure, so he'll keep playing him hoping at some point the player will start delivering. And last, but not least this is Lukaku we're talking about, a highly sensitive diva with an oversized ego. Benching motivates people who are willing to be humble, accept their mistakes and work hard to prove their worth. That's the opposite of what he is. He'll just sulk and keep eating his ass off to such extent that on matchdays we'll have to carry his body to the bench in a wheelbarrow.

"And according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Lukaku has gone from 15st 11lbs to around 14st 9lbs after the expert guidance from the nutritionist Matteo Pincella."

So he was 221 lbs (100kg), and lost 16 lbs to get to 205 lbs (just under 93kg) with all the personalised diet stuff.

And now he's 103kg according to Chelsea FC web site (227 lbs)

No wonder he's so effing slow LOL.  He's 22 lbs heavier than when he was tearing it up at Inter. How unprofessional !!!

Using BMI doesn't always work for heavily muscled athletes, but Lukaku is certainly carrying more than a few surplus pounds ... way more :-)

Shows he does not care about how he or the team performs as he is not willing to work for it.

Also you are basically saying he is well on the way to becoming 300lbs. Maybe we can get Vince McMahon to sign him for wwe.
