Now Trev, this is one we should keep hold of, appreciate he counts towards total profit…. But we cannot count on Wes to stay fit, nor the brothers of destruction to be mildly competent either. Centre back is our weakest area of the pitch by far.

Think Badiashile is here to stay. Wages aren’t an issue and he seems happy with his role. There could be a player there once he sorts out his bozo moments.

That's it ! The Horns Tavern. They had a young Irish lass in charge for a while. She was complaining about getting a parking ticket for parking on double yellows even though she insisted she wasn't parked on double yellows. She pointed up the road to where she had parked. We all said , " but there's yellow lines on the road" ..yeah, but I wasn't parked ON them, the wheels weren't touching the lines , I made sure they weren't ! . Nice little boozer for a while.

There was another pub sort of round the back.and up the hill on the left from Norwood Tavern, Irish pub ? Some of our lot got battered in there one night and gassed for just being strangers and some being black, by some local hard nuts. .

I have not lived in that area for over 25 years. Been to many a funeral in that (quite beautiful )cemetery though. I may have known him. My brother lived there. He would know everybody.

I lived in Stockwell/Clapham North area.

THAT pub you are thinking of - which i cannot remember the name of - was a Millwall pub - that i do know

A couple of lads suggested going there to avenge the attack , but the fellers who had got the battering absolutely ruled it out saying it was too dangerous, just have to swallow it . As they tried to get out of the Bricklayers they found the door was locked or bolted shut and as one of them said they had to ' volley " the door open.to escape!! We kept well clear of the place.
