Well that’s a good news. Hopefully the club recalls Gilmore and Gallagher from there loan deals. Beside Jorginho the other three we have ( RLC, Barkley, and Saul) are not PL standard

The problem is that in january Kante Kova Kante and Loftus cheek should be healthy.

Well to be on the safe we should recall them regardless. There are no guarantees that Kante and kova or Jorginho will be fit throughout the campaign. 

Love the passion a Chelsea vs Leeds game brings. Really spot on. Mason and Dave having exchanges with their fans. Beautiful.

That was the best thing about the game for me. Yes the win too, but having this proper derby game. Real needle, real hatred. The London sides are nothing compared to Leeds for us imo.

Anyway I enjoyed the game, even though we were tired and were really really poor between the first pen and Leeds second goal. As TT points out we change when we go in front and it is becoming a big problem.

United once, Watford once, West ham 3 times and Leeds pen we have been giving out present after present. Rafinhia and Klitch gave us 2 back today, stupid tackles.

Will take that luck.

Front 3 was a concern, Mason was the best of them but it was not hard. Werner and Havertz were very poor and should be dropped against Everton.

Well done to AC on weakening his contract position, and Toni for strengthening his.

Lovely to beat Leeds. Best game of the calander, long may they stay up so we get this twice a season. 🙂

Clearly a tired  team, physically and mentally several carrying injuries. Jorginho not at his best, RLC not at  kova or Kante level. Dave and Silva are both ageing. Silva looks great but his age shows when our midfield exposes him. 
 

Kante won’t play much, that’s been obvious for the last two seasons, so we need to move on and replace him and at least one of Dave/Silva/Rudigier if we want to win. Maybe we can hang on till the end of the season at the back assuming chalobah recovers but the midfield has to be reinforced. That was obvious before the season started. We also need lukaku to step up.

Everyone seems convinced they are some sort of magic fix. Even with them back we need to freshen up with with couple of good signings in January or TT will be heading for the chop as that is what Roman does.

Another game where we lived on the edge, defence was all over the place, not helped by key absence and individual errors, for once even Thiago looked out of thoughts. Just like the last 4-5 games, we were pretty comfortable then went a goal down out of no where, thanks to another individual error. We responded well, a game like this you need a true Chelsea player like Mount. After taking the lead, we got caught again between defend or going for a third goal, instead we did half and half and got ripped open again. Needed a bit of luck in the end, doubt we'd score an open play goal in the last few minutes, but we deserved a bit of luck and got it. The way Leeds play, they are always likely f* up in the last 5-10 minutes with their rush and press style, and rudiger got that error out of them. I doubt Rudiger would turn and score even the defender let him go, so was a dumb play on his part, but Jorginho did his job and won the game. The biggest worry for us is fatigue, it's not surprising we are making more mistakes than normal, and the last 10-15 of the game is proven to be very difficult for us. We should have never conceded the second goal, usually we'd just get in shape and ask them to break us down around the box, instead players dive in on their own, and opened up clear route to the goal

Still buzzing from the game. Again, we made it hard on ourselves, but we deserved to win. And the way we beat those dirty Leeds c***ts had that old school, hard fought vibe that made it the sweeter. 

Mount swooshing the Leeds fans is probably my highlight of the season so far. Love beating that lot.

Penalty central this weekend. So many soft ones.

I must admit, I never get tired of us beating Leeds.

Tough game, but great to win especially we've endured a recent form slump.

I agree with others that this match had old school vibes about it with the physicality and rough and tumble required to get all 3 points.

The rivalry with Leeds remains as strong as ever, despite a near 20-year hiatus.

Didn't miss it in the end, I watched on my phone in the pub and ignored everyone for 90 mins.

Leeds have been charged with failing to control their players after surrounding the ref for the last penalty. What’s confusing is Chelsea haven’t been charged and fined twice as much at the same time.
