As long as we have 14 first team players available it will go ahead and we got 15 on paper. That obviously includes Kovacic and Kante who's nowhere near fit.

So not fit wingbacks, midfielders or strikers today. Won't help us much if the league is suspended tomorrow as our league campaign will have been destroyed this afternoon already if this goes ahead.

That would be a farce because they cancelled Utd and Spurs games with less players affected. And yesterday Villa wasn’t only covid but also injuries according to the statement. If they’d given the numbers and names of affected players for all matches, we wouldn’t feel that the PL was being biased, but that’s how I feel.

If these rumours are true who would be left in our squad who hasn't (knowingly) caught this thing?

Mount, the keepers, Silva, James, Rudiger. Any others?

So why can't we just say kova and Kante are not match fit and cancel the game.

How could we even line up in midfield if it goes ahead?

Wolverhampton btw have only two cases, both reserves. So they are basically fully fit.

I can't say I particularly share your confidence but if there's one team I'd handpick to face in these circumstances it would be Wolves.

Not because they're bad (far from it) but they are probably the only team in the league less clinical than us, they battered United almost as much an Leicester and Watford did and still came away with nothing.

If there's one team that will let us off the hook it will be these.

So much for fairness and integrity.

clearly if this was one of their dear and beloved teams they would have cancelled it, they gave united a pre season for their new coach effectively

For those who wants to complain that Vale and other youngsters won't be on the bench. They haven't traveled and the last three Covid-positives came after traveling so they won't be there for a reason.

Pissed off that this is going ahead. Full strength Wolverhampton will smash through our C-side.
