February 5, 20224 yr I’m surprised that cardboard cut out of a £100mil strikers didn’t blow down in the wind - whoever erected it did a thorough job!
February 5, 20224 yr Only forward not getting time today is CP, all the other 5 did and no blame this time to a back 3 being reliant on wingbacks as we played a back 4. The only reason we are not out is because both our full backs scored. Our forwards are so, so bad.
February 5, 20224 yr That was almost embarassing, one week before World Club Championship and we were in danger of exiting the FA Cup by a League One side. As it is through to the next round and now with maybe Mount and Azpi injured. Lukaku was poor, we know he has a poor touch yet also his confidence has gone and to make it worse we brought on Werner, Timo joined Lukaku at the back of the bus by not being able to do the simple stuff expected of a striker. Ziyech was prominent and Havertz did well too by setting up Alonso. Kepa also played well. Azpi put in a big performance with a cracking goal. TT or coach poor why leave Lukaku on or is he now the Decoy? Edited February 5, 20224 yr by strider6004 typo

This should be plastered all over the dressing room. Just replace Werner with our players. Some of them need that kick up the arse again. They all came from varying background but being rich should not stop them from pushing themselves to the limit like they did back in their teen years
February 5, 20224 yr the sound of kepa stopping the penalty is satisfying, not even a rebound, well done

February 5, 20224 yr After trying 3 at the back, then 4 at the back, TT has now decided that 7 at the back might be our best option, leaving 3 in midfield because playing with any forwards has proven to be a complete waste of time.
February 5, 20224 yr Haven’t seen a such a collectively poor Chelsea attack in many years, baffling how bad some of these supposed top players have performed At times. Kepa, Azpilicueta and Kova are the only players that can come out of that with there head held high.
February 5, 20224 yr MOTM today for me was Azpi, good goal and driving us forward and trying to make things happen when our forwards were not on form. Kepa was good too. Ziyech and Kova, Mount were decent as well. Starting to notice Sar and think he looks decent though was unlucky to concede the penalty.

February 5, 20224 yr This game was rubbish from the point when Tuechel decided to sit the academy players. There was no urgency from anyone except Kovacic. Chelsea almost lost to Plymouth Argyle which sounds more like a sweater company.

February 5, 20224 yr 41 shots and needed extra time. That's actually horrendous. This is the worst attacking Chelsea side I've witnessed in over 20 years. Pathetic

Giant killings have been a feature of this competition for as long as I can remember. We’ve been on the wrong end of them before, no doubt we be will again. Today we weren’t. Given that we were poor, credit to Plymouth. They significantly raised their game, as lower league sides so often will when drawn against the likes of us, they gave us a run for our money, and they made the match moreinteresting for the neutrals. So we were sh*te, so what? All that really matters - as far as today’s game is concerned - is that we’re through to the next round of the Cup. Onwards and upwards.
