Plenty of criticism on here directed at players, and in some cases understandable. However with this type of display becoming normal, when do we focus on the system and the coaching?

Havertz has gone. Don't know how, but he looks shattered. Weird to see after so few games he has played.

Can’t be match fit due to being kept out the team by a statue.

I don't think anyone wants to play Lukaku in - this is an unhappy team

They probably know it’s a waste of time.

get saul in and hold on to the lead

Saul would just be another weak midfielder that gets bossed and cannot hold on to the ball.

Precisely for that reason. Been one of our better players today, but hes not match fit because somehow Lukaku plays every minute of every game.

It’s definitely the system & the coaching. I am not buying the theory that all our forward players have gone to sh*t.

He isn’t even getting 10% of their contribution from their previous clubs, makes zero sense.

That's what we've done every time the team goes to sh*t every second season though. Maybe it's been the right decision previously, maybe, but I don't see the point in blaming it all on the manager when he can't control the effort they are putting in, and the mistakes the players are making on the field.

I wouldn't be this incandescent about Lukaku if he was rotated in and out accordingly.

This is a perfect situation to get him off and get some high pressing player's on to halt Hilal's momentum but no this twat has to unconditionally last the 90. Even if he was firing there's times he just doesn't suit a game situation.

The more this happens the less and less sympathy I will have with Tuchel if/when he squanderes his amazing work. He'll have no one to blame but himself.

But their effort isn't even there. I'd understand if they were putting effort in, but they aren't.

So many chances to play the ball over the top to Lukaku that weren't not taking...we're either sh*te or deliberately not using Lukaku to his strengths

We have tried it loads of times today, but either Lukaku is offside or not ready to receive it. Just look at him with that chance a minute ago, he left the ball behind him. There has been one or two poor passes into him, but the majority of the problems are because of Lukaku himself.

But it's not. They mess up routing passes and touches, that isn't coaching, that is a problem with the players. For years now we have had a habit of turning to sh*t when things get tough.
