Just too little experience across that back line if we (invariably) lose Silva for a few games. And ACL (Chilwell) recovery is always a bit of a lottery. 

Massive clearout is the only way. Just try to keep James from going to Madrid and give Mount the captains armband.

If, and It looks probable we shift Timo and Lumpkaku, who comes in, big shoes for Broja and another to fill, we need to change our slowwwwww style of play, borne out of plenty of recent results, dominating possession wins you f**k all, get Eriksen in he is the bomb, get Kante to be more structured as patrolling DM, hoping RLC is seeing the light for his Yaya potential, Give Mount armband, do not play Dave…..(Sorry, a root cause for slow slow meaningless passes), Rotate Kepa more, hopefully Chilly is fit for new season?

If we get Eriksen ( he might not come because of Spurs) I'm assuming we will go three in M/F.

If we do we could go two up top with Broja and Werner.

 

Given the number of top clubs that think they need a massive clear out, exactly who is going to buy all these dead wood players ?

And especially so when most clubs are still treading very carefully after the covid financial losses ...

He won't lead the line. Havertz and Broja as the STs is fine if they are accompanied by goal scoring wingers. 

We need clinical finishers. Or at least one. We have none and that's why Everton beat us last weekend.

Scottish football is supposed to be not very good, and German football supposed to be the dogs, and yet Rangers have now dispatched two of the top 5 in the Bundesliga to reach the Europa Final ! (Dortmund 2nd, Leipzig 5th).

Maybe we need to stop signing players from Germany and start looking closer to home north of the border !

Not so long ago every top team in England had a Scottish contingent. You wonder why the decline has happened? 

Whatever happens i just hope we dont lose Gilmour or Gallagher. When you think about it its actually frightening the amount of young quality players at Chelsea. Do we try and build a team around young guys for the future or go out and spend on big names which we have seen doesnt always go to plan. 

You would expect the new owners would want to make an impact, In JM's first season we signed the following to make a statement...

i'd expect a raft of transfer business again with the new owners wanting to make a statement and assuming the club have their targets identified and are ready to go, otherwise we could be in for a long summer like last season.
