If RLC touched it, which he clearly did,  he was offside. Regardless if the touch was at the same time as a wolves player

Thought the Wolves player got the toe on it first just before RLC?  Still offsides? Maybe I don't understand the rule?

My issue is over how long these decisions take though. They have all this computer technology at their disposal. If it is that clear why does it still take so long?

The time is irrelevant with offside. Clear and obvious does not apply to offside. It is simply a check to see if he was or was not off.

In this case, there were 3 separate checks, 1 for the flick on, checking if rudi was on or off (he was on), the second for RLC (he was off), and the third to see if lukaku or the wolves player played the ball to RLC (it was lukaku)

3 checks. correct outcome on all 3

Did var check Werner’s disallowed goal? Because I didn’t notice a foul but there wasn’t any communication regarding var at the stadium

I think the ref blew before the ball went in. Very poor decision. Sums up how things are going

Watching a US stream and I have to say Epsom Derby > Kentucky Derby.

I don't understand the audience for horse racing.  They get all dressed up, go out there, wait for hours to sit and watch a 3 minute race.

Very difficult to stay onside when ypu're standing almost outside the pitch. It was lukaku who should've put that chance away.

Nope, because the ref blew before he got a shot away. The ref removed any chance of VAR getting involved. If he had allowed play to resume, like he is supposed to, then VAR would never have overturned it.

Hmm James and Azpilicueta have swapped places. Must have been spooked by that Aït-Nouri counter just before half-time.

Removes any left-footed set piece threat and also means our deliveries from wide will be worse. Tuchel must have some money on a 0-0.

Unlucky Reece - almost exorcised the ghosts of Aurélio's free kick against us for Liverpool in 2009.
