Yes, bizarre, but why the games at Brighton and at Manchester are postponed? I don't envisage much problem there other than the rivalry, but there should be policing as there is going to be in other places.

United - Northern Scummers could bring out the idiots and the Palace ‘Ultras’ are generally just an embarrassment to the country?
September 12, 20223 yr Above everything else we are seriously risking another Eriksen situation if this carries on, the fixture list this season is unbearable enough and there's two more games to add to it for many clubs. Conor Gallagher is a Mount injury away from needing to start most games, he's got history of an irregular heartbeat.
September 12, 20223 yr Brighton called off due to rail strike that isn’t going ahead! I still think our game is partly a political decision due to opposition! Klopp already talking about minute silence for chp Lge game!! Difficult now to fit two extra games in. Unless we have a bad lge cup or F A cup run.

Brighton game with Palace was postponed before the Queen died due to a railway strike which, ironically, has been postponed. No idea why the other London games go ahead but Uniteds game with Leeds is off???

Normally over 1000 police on duty for a very high profile match, GMP didn’t have the numbers to cope.

Man United vs. Leeds is major policing headache. Looking at the fixtures called off it seems to be those where they are concerned over any likelihood of trouble, and/or a lack of respect towards the minute of silence.
September 12, 20223 yr Author Will their ever be another normal season ? No postponements, no covid bans, no sanctions, no transfer ban, no ESL crisis, no Royal deaths (which seem to mainly affect....yes you guessed), no corrupt World Cup smack bang in mid season. Have i missed anything ? because we been through so much sh*t lately.

And in order to avoid the embarrassment, they’ve decided to overload our schedule as usual and disregard the fact that maybe many supporters will not be able to attend a midweek game, when the two postponed games will likely be played.
September 12, 20223 yr No way this game was ever going to be on. Once we started to sing the anthem they would of again booed it. Then it would of kicked off the fact another London game is on speaks volumes
September 12, 20223 yr Author They don't want Liverpool fans coming down on Sunday because they would be coming down on the train, travelling across London, from Euston on to the Victoria line through Westminster, on to the District line across West London to FB. That's why the other London clubs are playing.

They could have decided to have no away fans but I am sure Liverpool would have refused to go along with that. I think Liverpool play at home against Valerie's Dutch favorites tomorrow in the Champions League and they will have a minutes silence then. You would like to think their home fans can respect the minute of silence before their game, but if that doesn't happen they will probably blame the travelling fans.
