Enzo Fernandez - not wanted in England, the Falklands or probably Argentina now

Featured Replies

City won’t make the move officially until Barca sign Rodri just as we won’t make a move for his replacement until Enzo has gone.

Neto and Gusto are in the same boat. They need other transfers to happen before theirs. I think we end up with one of Neto, Gusto or Enzo still at the club at the end of the window. It could be any one of them.

Gusto has half heartedly been linked to Liverpool. With the Amazon money now in them I'd not be surprised if they make a big splash or several in the market. Perhaps Enzo may be who they target to give City an bloody nose.

City still talking to Javier Pastore today though. Have to assume it was to either reassure him they would make a move on their time or that they are not going to move.

I have a feeling they won't be offering high wages...

I don't think he'll ever wear the captain armband ever again

I think you'd be surprised, before the World Cup I didn't know any Chelsea fan personally that didn't like him. Football's a fickle business.

Every knowledgeable chelsea fan i know in the real world cant stand him and see him for the liability he is, his "clutch" goals dont cover the issues he creates for us.

On another forum 90% are the same, want him gone and cant stand him.

Each player will only play 25 to 40inutes each game and be paid pro rata, bezos will request they can use 20 subs per game.

Their players are paid well. Gravenberch is on £280k/w, and Szoboszlai is on £250k/w. Can’t see that changing any time soon.

In a way can’t blame Enzo for looking out for himself as he approaches his peak years. BlueCo would rather pay £100m+ transfer fees than offer players the £250k/w+ wages their peers are earning.

In my eyes he needs to leave. He’s burnt his bridges here. It’s really as simple as that.

I’m still hopeful he will leave. If he doesn’t go, it’s likely he will derail our season and that’s the last thing we want.

The sooner he f*cks off the better.

Be interesting to see what happens in the next couple of weeks. Let's see if City play dirty.

Will we take the 120M if they bid in the next days? Let's say 20th August the latest? I think there is a chance we will.

But will we do it on the deadline day if City choose to play dirty? I'd say absolutely no if it was 50M we are talking about.

But with 120M on the line...

Pretty poor to give this d**khead the captain's armband when James came off this afternoon.

Apparently he got booed by half the crowd when he came on.

I was there, he did, myself included. I find it crazy that the other half are singing his name. Very mixed reception.

Maybe the other half were cheering for the other subs that came on LOL

Seems to be the case in general when it comes to Enzo. Fans have been mixed on him since day 1.

To me it looked like the "Enzo Fernandez" chants were way louder and covered all the boos. I'm mixed about this myself. I would not reject the 120M, but I would be happy if he stays, too. What I hope for is we do not turn into this toxic fanbase and boo him everytime he touches the ball or makes a bad pass. If he stays, he stays and we move on. It is in our interest he does not have a hard time on the pitch and does not perform because of it. Just let him play, Alonso will put him on the bench if he does not perform, our business is to support the club no matter what.

Same I was there too and Matthew Harding stand was singing his name loudly while everyone else booed him

It was a mixed of getting loudly booed while coming on and getting loudly cheered straight after that both were not at the same time

Still think he is leaving, despite the club saying otherwise especially with Alonso dead set on playing a 3-4-3 formation. He occupies the same spaces as Rogers, and you would think Alonso is smart enough to know if he drops him next to Caicedo, he lacks the restraint to stay in that role.

No one's going to boo him once we know he's staying.

Flirting with Real Madrid towards the end of the season already had a lot of fans annoyed, and nobody has forgotten his song about the French team either, so if he put a foot out of place again, he was always going to receive boo's from a sizeable amount of the fanbase. A lot of fanbase oversees think it is to do with the goal he scored against England, which is absurd. It's the Falklands stuff that tipped fans over the edge. It was the last straw for a lot of fans, so I'm not surprised that he received boo's.

I wonder how Barco is going to treated when he plays.

I'd say very well.

He doesn't have the history Enzo has regardless of the Bellingham spat

I hope the fans were just saying we’d rather this guy gone if a bid comes in, however if he stays I won’t be booing any Chelsea player first game of the season.

If he is being shoehorned in and causing problems then I’ll be wanting him out the team purely on a footballing pov.

His politics, sexuality, religion are his choices I’m not judging anyone on that. I’d rather the money and a better player nothing to do with the man.
