Saying that he isn't settled in the league is wild, you can surely find another thing to use as a reason for not liking him because like I pointed out he's doing whatever he wants which means that he is comfortable in this league and in this team, and very much so... Now I never said that this isn't a problem but to actually believe that he isn't settled sounds deluded for real LOL

- Enzo had a good debut (which was two years ago);
- Enzo has settled into the league (which is debatable).

Bournemouth 2nd goal

It all started with bournemouth throw in. There is a confusion somewhere here and you can see there is one bournemouth player free in the middle (bad but not the end of the world). We are nor outnumbered nor exposed. 

Now there is a free runner. Jackson ran back to help (Very impressive work rate from our st) and the only one who is free here is Enzo. His job is to stop runner and prevent the ball goes to bournemouth st and he is doing neither. 

 

The ball goes to semenyo. This is now 1 v 1 in the box without protection ☠️☠️☠️

Semenyo beat acheampong 1 v 1. Where is Enzo? Yes he is standing next to Jackson.

FYI. Latin Americans struggle to adapt to the UK weather, football, food, women etc... It's well documented by the players who have come and gone from South America. It's a well read book and not a box Ive put him into. I've not even bringing his off field antics into this. 

Im happy for you that you that you he can remember one match two and a half years ago he played well in and you cant point to any others in that time. 

I can count the number of games Enzo has played that he has been standout from the rest on one hand. They have come against teams in the bottom half of the league and cup games against championship and div one. 

IMO he has been arguably chelsea's worst ever signing.

It's not a bucketload of chances but many of those could've easily turned into assists for Enzo, and i'm not even talking about this season alone. I say it again, if these players weren't so allergic to scoring (and don't even get me started on the defense) things would be very different, not just for Enzo but for the entire team.

Well he is back today and Man Cities midfield has been sh*t.

They have a new defender in to replace the injured Diaz, a very highly rated "next Salah" in to replace Doku, but no new midfielder.

So go on Enzo, dominate this game.

Bob,You want to act like you know the game but you think Enzo's the problem here?  How about the first picture. Noni's throwing a tantrum,  doesn't meet the guy nearest him, dragging Palmer out of position, freeing someone in the middle.  There was no confusion, Noni just didn't play.  Enzo is one of the furthest players from the ball, but runs to put pressure on him, where Noni does nothing at all, Caicedo, should have cleaned this up.  Enzo isn't even in the first picture you show, but recovered all of the way to be in the middle of it.  This is lack of leadership in the back, some needs to tell Caicedo to step instead of getting run out of position. Obviously Acheampong was way too loose, which is why he was and should have been immediately subbed.  My order on this goal,  1) Noni for being useless if he just pressures the receiver, nothing follows, 2) Acheampong for being too loose, 3) Sanchez for giving up the near post again. 4) Caicedo for not stepping,  5) Sancho for not stepping with Palmer,  6) Colwill for getting caught in no man's land and letting Caicedo go to the backside. 7) Reece James for being too loose,   then you have Enzo, Palmer, Jackson and Cucu.

My view of this was that Fernandez sent a hospital pass to Noni from the right back area, and then didn't even try and get back to midfield alongside Caicedo, leaving acres of space for Bournemouth to build their attack.  You can see him at the bottom of your still ...

Enzo, basically cleared a ball and gave Noni a chance, Enzo was playing the ball out of the back, he was guarding the most dangerous player on the throw.  it's simple, noni gets lazy.  Noni steps up to the receiver of the throw, enzo to the thrower and james to the player enzo was on.  We're golden.  Noni, always takes the lazy way.

Apparently he was the most dribbled past player in the PL last weekend. He just doesn’t work in a duo with Caicedo, and he has the latter playing as a one man midfield. Heard Maresca has asked for a “6” in this Jan window, club just needs to recall Ugochukwu. He needs to be played in a midfield 3 or left on the bench if Maresca insists on a 2. 

Loved how Enzo was remonstrating and banging his head after we conceded a goal and yet one again, he himself was woeful. Another luxury player who just doesn't cut it in the PL on a regular basis.

He needs to be played how he was under Potter otherwise there's no point him starting. The free role to get forward is wasted on a player like Enzo, I would honestly rather see Caicedo getting forward that's how ineffective Enzo is. 

He needs to be played at another club. 

Let them try and figure out what he is.

Reality is we paid £107m for a guy whose Whoscored average rating at the 2022 World Cup was 59th out of all the players at the tournament.

Yeah Bernardo Silva ran circles around him for 90 minutes. He even played midweek as well. 

I'd be embarrassed. They are so far away from the standard that needs to be reached.
