Bang average footballer and f**king awful in terms of any capacity to be a captain. Palmer and Caciedo aside (and maybe James if you can ignore injuries) there isn't really any player in the squad you'd be that arsed if they left in the summer but I'd still have Enzo very near the top of players I'd happily see leave if it wasn't for the massive financial hit we'd need to take. Aye. A player caught up in racism controversy quickly becoming our captain shortly thereafter after. Shows how little the football side means to the ownership.
February 14, 20251 yr Said it before and I will say it again, if he was English, nobody would be interested in this guy. Rated highly 100% because he is from a nation of some of the greatest players ever. Can't believe people even mentioned him in the same breath as Fabregas.

February 14, 20251 yr He's certainly a victim of the circumstances, as I feel he would be performing far better in a team full of confidence. But yeah, he's not worth close to what we paid for him, but then that's the story of our transfer business

It's no coincidence that he has been made captain in the absence of James. They brushed off his antics in the summer, gave him the armband and made him the face of the club to sell shirts. Disgusting.

Some said he was going to be the pivotal signing, the one to turn is all around. More or less made out he is a combination of the best bits of of Cesc, Lamps and Essien.

Disgusting. Facts mate. His shameful behavior in the summer closely followed by being made our captain. Disgraceful.

What a terrible message that sent to the rest of the squad. Hopefully Real Madrid are actually interested in a possible swap with Tchouameni. I would happily take that option if so.

February 26, 20251 yr I think he’s been good for majority of this year so far but that performance was something else even if it was against worse team in the league. Honestly believe if he had signed for City instead he would a lot more highly rated as a player, with us is quite an awkward fit.

He only looks an awkward fit because he isn’t been used in his ideal role. Maybe at City he would have been played next to Rodri who covers a lot of ground.

At city they wouldn’t have needed to sign someone like Kovavic or Gundogan.
February 26, 20251 yr I believe he can be a world class player even though we’ve not seen any of it.I’ve lost patience and even though I know he’s going to become one of the best midfielders in Europe when he peaks, I’ve had enough of him. He’s holding us back and we need to find a better midfielder, perhaps Andrey Santos will be the replacement. He’s just not cut out for this league and he’d blossom in Spain or Italy. I hope someone comes in with a decent offer this summer and we take it.
February 27, 20251 yr From tonight's Boehly presentation at the FT Business of Football Summit : On Chelsea's strategy, Boehly continued: 'What we were really thinking about is how you put together a team that has the ability to stay together. When you read about the teams who were the dynasties over the years, they had superstar captains that really led them. What you're trying to find is that superstar captain.'Clear as day that Enzo Fernandez is their idea of this "superstar" captain ...

March 9, 20251 yr Another good performance. Him and Caicedo cover a lot of ground, starting to look like a good partnership at last.

Nothing impressive iimpressive doing it with championship sides and conference league cannon fodder.
March 10, 20251 yr He was everywhere today. Team performance still underwhelming, but Enzo was one of the few standouts. Keep it up!
