July 23, 2025Jul 23 If £130m bid comes in for a player I don’t think is that suited to the prem it might be hard to turn down.I’d play him in the midfield 2 when we play park the bus teams at home otherwise he may not get in the team.Obviously the player will have a say, the lure of RM to South Americans is strong and if he says he wants to go and we get that money I’d take it.I do worry what signal it might send out, everyone’s for sale etc but Enzo is just not an untouchable like say moi or palmer.Don’t RM know KDH is going cheap😜
July 23, 2025Jul 23 That's not much more than we paid for him, and he;'s been improving and adapting. I'd rather keep him than sell for that money.

Wasn’t it 9 1/2 years of which 2 1/2 gone so just about 25% of his fee amortised. So what’s that around €80 million to go.He has improved a little but his development isn’t anywhere close to that of Caicedo. If an offer of around €130 million came in I would take it in a heartbeat.

I don't see how Simons doesn't start, he's not joining us to become a squad player. So I think there is a chance Palmer moves back to his best position and Simons takes the CAM role. Or it's possible that we won't play with any wingers at all and Simons, Palmer and Pedro will all move around the attack and Delap will play as our striker.I feel like Gittens and Estevao will be the two that see the least minutes, at least for now. It's nice to have so many options again though. Edited July 23, 2025Jul 23 by Scott Harris
July 23, 2025Jul 23 Real Madrid have a habit of getting in a players head and making moves happen for what they deem fair.Key is if the turn Enzos head. If he wants the move it likely happens for the price real want to pay, or close to it.
July 23, 2025Jul 23 I think it could be a next season move rather than this season, especially if Madrid don't win anything again.
July 23, 2025Jul 23 Author I’d be surprised if Enzo’s head is turned. Bloke seems to play for the badge and loves it here.

August 10, 2025Aug 10 It's only been two friendlies, but the most noticeable negative point was how much worse we look with Enzo in the middle compared to a Caicedo / Santos midfield or Essugo / Santos midfield. Enzo offers more to the attack than all of these players, but with so many attacking options now, does his strengths outweigh his weaknesses?
