Wouldn't surprise me, but I would hope he could at least see out one more year here.

I don't see how Enzo plays regularly if we sign Simons though.

Simons replaces Sancho and Mudryk.

Who are Gittens and Estevao replacing? Plus J.Pedro will likely feature out wide when Delap plays. Plus Neto will be on the left if Palmer rightfully goes back on the right.

If £130m bid comes in for a player I don’t think is that suited to the prem it might be hard to turn down.

I’d play him in the midfield 2 when we play park the bus teams at home otherwise he may not get in the team.

Obviously the player will have a say, the lure of RM to South Americans is strong and if he says he wants to go and we get that money I’d take it.

I do worry what signal it might send out, everyone’s for sale etc but Enzo is just not an untouchable like say moi or palmer.

Don’t RM know KDH is going cheap😜

Estevao replaces Noni if he doesn't go out on loan. He's only 18 and may well struggle going straight into the team.

Gittens replaces Sancho.

Mudryk doesn't need replacing.

Simons challenges Enzo in the 10.

That's not much more than we paid for him, and he;'s been improving and adapting. I'd rather keep him than sell for that money.

Yes, but when you consider his value is already amortised then its actually a big book profit.

Just spotted he had a Green Bay Packers jersey on in NY. Due a lifetime contract and 0 criticism allowed against him anymore. What a boy.

Did he really? Lol I'm from Wisconsin.

It was a Jaire Alexander one unfortunately which might be a bit outdated now…

I’ll have to drop you a DM as I’m planning a Lambeau visit either this or next year dependant on work!

Moved to NC in May but let me know regardless if you have any questions! Born and bred in Wisconsin.

Three years of amortisation off the original fee though. We'd basically be doubling our money on his book value if it went ahead at £130m.

I like the cut of your jib but wasn’t he on just about the longest of all contracts given out to date. Wasn’t it 9 1/2 years of which 2 1/2 gone so just about 25% of his fee amortised. So what’s that around €80 million to go.

He has improved a little but his development isn’t anywhere close to that of Caicedo.

If an offer of around €130 million came in I would take it in a heartbeat.

I think it will be one or the other when it comes to Delap and Pedro. I don't see how Simons doesn't start, he's not joining us to become a squad player. So I think there is a chance Palmer moves back to his best position and Simons takes the CAM role. Or it's possible that we won't play with any wingers at all and Simons, Palmer and Pedro will all move around the attack and Delap will play as our striker.

I feel like Gittens and Estevao will be the two that see the least minutes, at least for now. It's nice to have so many options again though.

Real Madrid have a habit of getting in a players head and making moves happen for what they deem fair.

Key is if the turn Enzos head. If he wants the move it likely happens for the price real want to pay, or close to it.

I think tonight was the night that Maresca finally identified Enzo Fernandez's best position !

In your dreams! Tonight we’ve seen those that are lined up for sale by the board lol

It's only been two friendlies, but the most noticeable negative point was how much worse we look with Enzo in the middle compared to a Caicedo / Santos midfield or Essugo / Santos midfield. Enzo offers more to the attack than all of these players, but with so many attacking options now, does his strengths outweigh his weaknesses?
