As soon as it read that I burst out laughing, quite possibly the funniest thing I've seen on this forum. Hes as dynamic as a piece of fudge.

I guess “Athleticism” in football gets flattened into pace and power. I don't think I was suggesting that he was pacey or powerful. On the other hand, I did see him covering a lot of ground — and still does today for Flamengo.

When did Partey have time in between his problematic bedroom activities?

I disagree. I don't think they were vastly different. Mikel wasn't the registra or whatever you call it because he wasn't first choice and our style of play wasn't possession based.

He wasn't a defensive midfield general or Kante or Makalele. His attributes were good close ball retention and short range passing. Just like Jorginho.

Mike played as 10 for Nigeria, I don't think anyone want to see jorgi play as 10

Those last two columns are hilarious haha this means he’s covered about 130m a minute which is moving at an average speed of 4.85mph. Walking speed is 3-4mph for reference. Cmon…

Simon Phillips and other “in the knows”

So, on the ladder of reliability, on one of the bottom rungs. With Maresca at City, there are going to be daily claims that he will raid Chelsea. Wait for the Cucarella "hot tip".

I think Enzo Fernandez leaving will be for the benefit of the team. We try to shoehorn so much of our football through him at the detriment of everyone else.

If a proper number 10 was given his box crashing freedom they'd get much better numbers or if we want a proper 8 we need someone much more well rounded.

Hopefully we throw the money at Rogers.

“Enzo Fernandez is likely to depart Chelsea this summer. Contract negotiations have failed to progress and the player feels disappointed with “things being done to make him leave” Barring a huge turnaround, he will play his FINAL match this weekend.”

Seems he is asking for £250k/w+ which I can’t see happening under these owners. I don’t even think he is worth the money. Is he sure Madrid want him though? Especially with a Mourinho who prefers a 4-3-3 and a powerful midfield. He also isn’t going to play his preferred box crashing role at midfield.

Atletico and City are the only 2 clubs I can see him going to.

The former makes a lot of sense. Argentine influence, Madrid, and the fact with Griezmann leaving it frees up a lot of wages for Enzo. City because of the Maresca influence and the fact he'd be cheaper than Anderson.

I'm just worried as to who the directors replace him with. Going to need an attacker that is pretty good in the box.

Well the directors have made it very clear that they have learned their lesson, so I can tell you with 100% confidence that Fernández's replacement will be Valentín Barco.

Agreed. Think other players have definitely been effected by Enzo playing so much - Palmer and Caicedo especially). Hopefully we will look a much more balanced and rounded side under Alonso without Enzo being shoehorned into the team every week.

I cannot see us getting Rogers though. I know money talks but he'll be playing CL football again next season with Villa.

1000% they will go after Eli Kroupi to replace Enzo if he leaves.

I can feel it in my balls.

No need to replace Enzo, wont be missed... a tree stump would have more influence on the pitch than he does.

I think this is wishful thinking by the fan base.

In regard to looking more balanced and rounded I think that's a no brainer considering Alonso is a much better manager and would happen even with Enzo in the team but I would hardly shed a tear if we did sell for £80mil+

Funny, but let's actually think practically.

He's our best box crasher and is amazingly in the 95th percentile in key passes in the attacking third.

If we can replace that output with a player that is also quick and can dribble, it works to our benefit. A established player too.

Think Kroupi might be Arsenal bound. They might be getting rid of Havertz & Jesus this summer.

That seems likely.

Emegha is also already signed up so there is Joao Pedro's replacement.

Who is Strasbourgs left defender not named Ben Chilwell?

Mainstream journalists picking it up too now. Seems quite likely there is something going on whether he is trying to leave or trying to get an improved contract.

Thanks, but rumour and speculation don't interest me. It's mainly clickbait. When something is confirmed, fine.

When he leaves, can we get a few players to give him a few kicks and chest pounding in front of him when we come up against him? Seeing as he does it to players that leave, I think it would be pretty fitting.

So you only trust Club statements, which is fine. So, any news or comments are never valid for you, unless they come from the Club. Just to be clear.
