Surely he knows he is stuck here on a very long contract and the only way to force a move is by stirring things up in the media. Most of the Chelsea fans do not like Enzo, but I think he is quality and showed a lot of times he is passionate about fightning for the badge. When he arrived here he was one of the hottest properties in world football and it's not like he chose Chelsea for the massive wages the owners offered him. At 180k per week, this is average wages for a club leader in comparison to what others earn at other clubs. When he was convinced to join Chelsea, the owners have presented him a project that is totally different now from the one they vouched for initially. Would I be as mad as Enzo is? Totally. He is inside the club and probably does not see better days coming, so why waste his best years here?We have to accept we are a f**king mess at the moment and as big an optimist I am, I do not see a bright future for this club either if these idiots in charge do not wake up and change their approach into a more clever one. And one that fits European football and a big club like Chelsea.Summed it up perfectly. Tbh, I don't blame him. The vast majority on here are neither BlueCo or Rosenior fans, and voice our exasperation with both. If I was playing for Chelsea at the moment, and it's a short career, I'd be probably thinking I would want a move to somewhere where there's a plan, where's there's not an ongoing project that never seems to have an end. We are fans, the players are employees. We can probably all relate to being in a job that we'd like to get out of at some time in life. BlueCo have shown us nothing to show that the future is bright, to fans or employees. Unless you are a SD of course. Or an over promoted championship " coach".

This whole problem is a mess BlueCo created which should have been nipped in the bud ages ago, but they have indulged in the player and he is now out of control. When you invest £105m on a player, he just can’t wake up one morning and decide he doesn’t want to play where you bought him to play because he has always fancied himself as something else. What you have now is two players in Enzo & Palmer who IMO are incompatible in the further afield, and trying to be the main guy. If this “phantom” Madrid move did exist, he won’t try going there and playing as a “10” or a box crasher or whatever. He will sit deep in midfield and do the job he is paid for.

I don’t see a clear incompatibility between Cole Palmer and Enzo anyway—if anything, the lack of structure around them is what creates this perceived friction. That’s a squad construction problem, not a player problem. Squad construction... oxymoron? 😅 Edited April 11Apr 11 by acaeus

April 18Apr 18 Author Bloke scored against Mexico and is now incapable of scoring from that same spot ever again.
April 19Apr 19 Fine, bin him off. Then what? Our entire midfield is just DMs who treat the opposition box like it’s off-limits.Enzo gets injured vs United and on comes Lavia — the deepest one of the lot. Forget we were actually chasing a goal at that point.Even if I think Liam Rosenior is a complete quack, I don’t really blame him — this is on squad building, or the lack of it. After Garnacho replaced Estevao we were left with a bench full of midfielders and defenders save for Guiu who wasn't going to achieve anything.

He’s the face of all the new clothing ads. 😭

April 22Apr 22 Obviously the big problem is the owners and their sporting directors, but this bloke needs to leave with them at the earliest opportunity. Toxic little sh*t. Wouldn't surprise me if the whole mood around the place lifted if Enzo f**ks off somewhere else. That little stunt to the away fans at the end of the game last night was absolutely pathetic.
April 22Apr 22 He should have been dropped for good and put up for sale after Madrid comments.Instead he came back and worn the captains armband. Making complete mockery of the days of John Terry who would die on the pitch.I can’t remember disliking a Chelsea player as much as him. He’s a complete c*nt.
April 22Apr 22 I think he has been badly managed by Blue Co., like many or most all of the playersRecruited and praised to the skies, put on a pedestal. Experienced too many managers with different styles. Made a vice captain. Dropped/suspended for flirting with another club. Reinstated in the team as captain. Not ideal.other players have equally strange stories Fofana, Chalobah Achempong Guiu all different but all irregular.Blue co have responsibility for all the bizarre player management activities which far outweigh Enzos individual behavior. In fact im struggling to name a player who has been treated in a normal footballing management manner. The minute managing and the medical intrusion - and thats what it is, has had players on the pitch or benched at the wrong time, almost every time. Palmer has had his minutes managed and played out of position likewise Reece James - has it benefitted the team in terms of results, i dont think so.The players arent refusing to play they simply dont know what to do anymore.

I thought signings were supposed to be vetted for player temperament and attitude LOL. Perhaps they were, but we've been deliberately trying to sign c**ts LOL
April 22Apr 22 Hasn't covered himself in glory but he took the abuse from the away fans on the chin the longest.
April 22Apr 22 I like Enzo as a player, but he hasnt actually turned into the type of player that i thought we signed.I thought we would be getting a pass master, like a fabregas or KDB, but also someone who could dictate like Jorginho. What we have got though is a bit of a runner and a box crasher. Passing is okay, final ball usually poor, cant shoot from distance, but solid finisher. Okay defensively, but not great. He is maybe a £40m player. If we had Luis Enrique or Pep, they wouldve made him a much better player. Mismanaged asset imo.

April 22Apr 22 Yeah I think a lot of people’s anti-Enzoness is clouding the fact he was the only one with the balls to stand and rightfully take the sh*t off the fans, the rest of the cowards were gone as quickly as they could.Earned my respect for that at the least. If this was in Italy let’s see LR’s sprint round the ground (He spent longer clapping the Brighton fans) wouldn’t have been accepted. There’s not a lot I respect ‘Ultras’ for but accountability is definitely one thing we should bring over to these shores.
