June 5Jun 5 Riquelme (one of the Real Madrid candidates) promised that he was going to sign Haaland if he got elected as President, only for Haaland's dad and his agent to come out and say that it wasn't true hahaha

June 8Jun 8 If Enzo leaves, that carries on the timetowaste profile picture curse. The previous 3 before Enzo were Jorginho (went to Arsenal mid season), Mudryk (PEDs) and Nkunku (injured and flopped). I will curse whoever is chosen by the highest bidder.

June 8Jun 8 Author Surely its Rogers they look to replace him with. How they lure him is the funny part. Can't sell him on the "project" anymore when we are a yoyo club with players are wanting to f**k off.
June 8Jun 8 Personally I think Real Madrid would suit Enzo.Slower paced and less physical than the Premier League and the way most teams just roll over for the big boys in La Liga will suit his ego and then there's guaranteed Champions League every year as well.Let's hope they put thier money where thier mouth is.

Is Enzo a Jose type player.... I think not, and sadly, it will send me into a depression; he'll be here at the start of next season...

La Liga is much faster paced than the modern PL, mostly because teams still try to score from open play and aren't just kicking for corners. Results against smaller teams defined this year's La Liga title race, whereas most of the smaller teams rolled over for Arsenal, who've actually had an appalling record against the bigger teams for the last few years.Fernandez is a bad fit for Real Madrid. The role he wants to play is the same as two colossal egos in Fede Valverde and Jude Bellingham. He could be a great player for them if he's willing to play deeper and in a more defensive role, with the promise he showed at Benfica and early at Chelsea. Here's hoping that they sign him anyway.
June 9Jun 9 He goes he goes.. overpriced .. liked to talk about loyalty and show his chest - kissing the badge on every occasion but don’t really care about cfc. We aren’t perfect but wc players carry clubs.. unfortunately he isn’t very good. Do I trust this management to replace with better probably not- but there is always hope.I hope they sign a taller player who can tackle and head and has an engine to score 5-10 goals.. we need that in the center.

June 11Jun 11 “Nottingham Forest are holding out for a package of up to £130million to sell Elliot Anderson to Manchester City, who distanced themselves from the idea of landing Enzo Fernandez”Have a sneaky feeling he will be here come the end of the window

No needle movers, this for sure. Fernandez, Cucurella, Jackson, hopefully Gusto and a couple of pure profits like Chalobah and George would fund anything we try to do in amortisation-land. No Fernandez sale and that could royally piss on our own chips

Without no European football, we need a very lean squad. Seems to be no outward movement with CMs priced at a premium in this summer market.

I've seen a bit of him and I'm not convinced yet. The neat footwork is fine but in a PL midfield he is going to need to be physically solid. We'll see.

He's 5'7" but very slight.
