October 26, 2025Oct 26 Sadly I think it's probably time to call Enzo a flop. He had his moments and seemed to be picking up some form last year, but not nearly enough to justify even half of his price tag. I just don't know what he brings exactly. If you watch him during our build-ups he just disappears. When he drops down to help with build-up all he does is slow us down. If he plays further up he doesn't do much to affect our attacks, he can't do even 10% of what Palmer does. If he'd cost 50 mill I think we would probably say he's just average, but given what he cost you expect much more.Short term I think he should be benched, and if Lavia is fit then play him, if not I'd rather see more of Santos. Long term I think we should try to sell him to La Liga or Serie A which would be more suited for him, but forget about recouping most of the money. It wouldn't be the worst thing to keep him if we can work something out but he needs Lavia behind him or a change in the system.
October 29, 2025Oct 29 I would like to see Lavia start ahead of Enzo against Spuds, but it won't happen.
October 31, 2025Oct 31 It bugs me that a player who got touted as some hybrid of Modric/Xavi/Kroos/Pirlo can't dribble the ball 2 metres without tripping over himselfI still can't reconcile in my head how Fernandez is somehow a technical luxury player just not cut out for English football but also moments like the above seem to suggest his technical ability is somewhere between Jonjo Shelvey and Duncan Ferguson
October 31, 2025Oct 31 I'd say he's similar to James Rodriguez due to the fact he got a big move off the back of a World Cup campaign as a youngster, but Rodriguez actually had multiple world class seasons to his name.
November 1, 2025Nov 1 Somehow managed to be one of the only disappointments (other being Neto, who appeared gassed) in a dominant win over Spurs.Lost count of how many times he tripped over himself on the ball (again), underweighted passes or straight out ignored his teammates. Made good runs to allow Garnacho space but that is all he offered.

That's 646.79% x 6 >10 higher than Jackson atm.

November 2, 2025Nov 2 I think criticisms are fair but he would've had 2 assists and made a couple of plays that would result in goals. He's the resident scapegoat so he'll get trashed on even when he plays brilliant Edited November 2, 2025Nov 2 by Deino

Yesterday against Spurs he was again very good.
November 2, 2025Nov 2 I wouldn’t say very good but he wasn’t bad at all. Just okay, I think the 7 rating quoted above is about correct tbh. As mentioned already he should have got at least 1 assist so it’s hard to fault him too much when he’s done his job.

November 5, 2025Nov 5 I genuinely thought watching Jorginho's performances for us was the ultimate example of a player looking out of his depth and managing to milk a career out of the occasional good pass to break up 88 minutes lf being a passenger. Also being supported by a handful of seemingly obsessed fans who followed him rather than the club he played for.Imagine my horror when, in next to no time, I find a Chelsea player who ticks those boxes even more! How the f**k can anyone watch his performances and think he brings anything positive to the team? It's not his fault he got signed for massive money. It's not his fault he gets picked. So I don't hold a grudge against himHe is just, from a talent perspective, hideously far away from being a player that will ever offer anything consistently good. We need to bin him as soon as we can.
November 5, 2025Nov 5 We know he is pony in midfield and at #10 ... maybe try him at centre back ?At the very least, we'll be able to have one consistent selection in defence LOL

It's pretty obvious on other social media where the majority of Enzo's support is from Americans who also uncritically support the new ownership. Enzo was BlueCo's first 'statement signing' and is emblematic of the new ownership, so any criticism of Fernandez is indirectly criticising BlueCo too.

Could have been embarrassing if I had to pretend he was good now.

Maybe gives money to the blind, likes dogs, puts on street carnivals and always asks after your mah!Just think he is a bang average footballer who needs more time and space than a Tardis can deliver before he impresses on a football pitch.
