Regarding the bolded point, I'm not sure I agree? Always felt he was a bit ineffective when that high up and his best games came from deeper when box crashing. Even the PSG game where the whole team were excellent he was just okay, did his job in terms of movement etc but didn't really do much else.

Mansplain is something that I didn't do, your need to try and nitpick my words and making them into something that I never even argued about is missing the point since me pointing out just how ridiculous it is to call Enzo a bang average player is missed entirely by your part and it's no accident isn't it?

So I get that you all agree with each other on that take but your effort to try and look unbiased or fair is more mansplaining than anything I have said.

I'm not as down on Fernandez as many on here. He does have value IMO but like so many before him, he suffers from a lack of athleticism in so much of what he is expected to do in an EPL midfield. So for me there is no way he should be an untouchable nailed on starter every week. Especially with Santos looking like he is ready to play regular minutes.

This lad is a natural born winner and leader of men. He is captain for a reason. If he adds some more goals to his game we have a top midfielder in the side.
