January 8, 20233 yr Good lord, sometimes I wonder how some people got a job on sports television. Here on brazilian ESPN the guy says "well you just saw every Chelsea player wearing the no 9 shirt in support of Aubameyang as they don't know what his future will be" just minutes after the other one mentioned Luca's passing.

January 8, 20233 yr It's a lot harder to play out against City when they have Alvarez up top instead of Haaland.

January 8, 20233 yr This constant determination to play out from the back to show the world that we're a ball playing team is alright but we just keep penning ourselves back into trouble. Kepa is far to slow and casual on back passes. We could pay for it.

Playing out of the back should be 1 or 2 passes between defenders before it moves to midfield and we start building an attack. We don't do that, we play 5, 6, 7 passes, invite trouble, play it long out of desperation and surrender possession.
January 8, 20233 yr Havertz's first touch is woeful. We don't know what to do with the ball except hoof it forward.
January 8, 20233 yr Great to see Hall play again. Humphreys likes a wonder doesn’t he - needs to hold his position
January 8, 20233 yr This is class from Havertz. Normally he waits until the second half before going home. Looks like he's already back indoors
