Look at him at Utd, he's found form again and so important for Utd right now. We need someone like him, direct, always looking to score, causing defenders headaches. We don't have players of that description at the moment. Hopefully Felix and Mudryk can be that.

The illogical decision to not renew his contract made no sense just because he was over a certain age. Surprised he wasn't given more respect here and just let go of so easily. He wanted to play more. Was back up here. Always underrated here, and yeah, whilst he slowed the game down and didn’t press, he was a useful target man

Old, slow and way, way, way past his sell buy date. Would probably score bucketfuls in Serie A. Completely agree. Unless we somehow pull off our most improbable European title to date, we are winning and achieving nothing tangible this season. There is therefore no point in wasting minutes on a player with no future at the club, with no interest in playing for the shirt, and who offers no immediate benefit when there are alternatives we can make future use of. The rest of this season should be all about deciding how we're going to approach next season and instilling patterns, figuring out which players we should build around and where we need reinforcements, and deciding which of our squad players Potter fancies and which he doesn't.

Yeah that irritates me, but I've been an armchair fan for two decades so I can't really criticise too much. I do wish there was more noise from the home crowd though. Thiago SIlva's wife even moaned about the lack of atmosphere at SB the other week lol.

January 15, 20233 yr And I have to go to an irish language film with my wife and mother in law in about 10 minutes. Will seem like a relief at this stage
January 15, 20233 yr Think I'd take Carney off, move Havertz to CAM, and bring on that Fofana bloke up front.
January 15, 20233 yr I feel sorry for havertz. Hes up there by himself. Why arent we overloading the box when we attack.
January 15, 20233 yr Look at the quality of our side... when you look at Silva you realize how sh*te our eleven is.

January 15, 20233 yr Potter's half time team talk must be as uninspiring as his subs. Aubameyang on to play out wide again.......
