Posted that in the Our exes thread as well, but it certainly warrants a thread of its own. Poor guy, hopefully this ends well.

Terrible situation all round. So many killed and missing. Let us hope that he is just unable to contact people, you'd imagine the quake would have caused havoc with communications systems. But it does not look good.

Conflicting reports now - portuguese media reporting found and in hospital - Ik media saying this is false.

Such great news amid all of the tragedy that he was pulled from the rubble alive. Thoughts and prayers will all the people from that part of the world.

That's good news indeed.

Now reports that nobody seems to be able to locate him at the hospital the was supposed to have been taken to, and there are fears that the earlier report was incorrect, and he is actually still buried in the rubble. Apparently he was on the 9th floor of his building when it collapsed, which doesn't sound great to me for a positive outcome 😞

What we all feared after the initially positive news proved false. Multiply this awful news with at least 44,000 and that's the scale of this disaster.

I truly hope the club will give it the attention it deserves.

A sad day and bizarre turn of events even the BBC were reporting that Atsu was in hospital a short while ago. 

 

Not surprising their is so much confusion over there.

RIP to him and all the many others that lost theirs lives in the most horrible way imaginable.

It's incredible isn't it. Enough poor people to fill Stamford Bridge and Kingsmeadow to capacity, and fifteen times the casualties of 9/11 ... 

The stories coming out about the government cash payments paid by developers to dodge the building codes must be heart breaking for all the bereaved ...
