Need Mudryk on ...players have had space in front of them and choose a safe sideways pass instead exploiting the space in front of them; they need to drive into that space and create something

Vague chances for us, but nothing of note. Had better chances early on in the first leg.

Haha at first I thought this was James in the Ruben Loftus-Tweak role, but he's playing as more or less an orthodox right centre-mid. Paul Cook must be watching on proudly.

What’s evident is you can give Chelsea 50 chances and they still wouldn’t score. While Madrid need only a couple of decent chances to score.

Robert Fleck was a striker. He didn't move on to the ball either. near post or otherwise
