Unai Emery is an example of what the right man can do. Took over a team close to relegation and now has them in 4th. Made a few signings but also massively improved the players he already had like Watkins, Bailey, Konsa and McGinn.

6 points against the mastermind Arteta. Now that's a real manager.

Exactly what we need but don’t have in manager.

It’ll be De Zerbi or we stick with Poch another season.

Xavi dark horse.

Really don't understand why we would go near Brighton, yet again. He's so great that if him and Poch have perfect run-ins, he'll finish 6 points behind us but sure let's replace Poch with him.

I'm not a believer of managers with potential as with players. I believe in getting someone that has delivered before because even though that's not a guarantee of title wins, it is about the closest you'll get to that.

It's ok for some clubs but those type of clubs are a different profile to Chelsea.

And to be honest, I'll take Xavi over plenty of managers and De zerbi

Big step up from Portugal Liga but Mourinho did okay 😀

His career trajectory from Benfica or let's even just say Leiria was clear it was going one way though and before he switched from Portuguese to English, he actually tore the whole of Europe in both competitions a new one, including English clubs.

Same. Not sure if he's taking a break from coaching or if he still hates our guts.

He may still hate the guts but not the smell and colour of the moolah. Everyone has a price, you just need to know what it is.

Benfica? Surely you mean Porto, he never got near the lampiões.

Can't see it happening but would be great to prise Emeri away from Villa. Really impressed with what he has done and how he conducts himself and if he brought Martinez and Watkins with him we would be top 4 Guaranteed.

Both will demand huge salary and they are outside of our age range.

Emery's done great. He is a great manager and has always been. Is Emery the right manager for this young crop is the real question Villa has an established squad.

DeZerbi, Frank and Howe might all be better than Pochettino but we would actually have to pay to find out. Not sure we need to change the coach to Frank and find out this squad is too young to be anything else it shows this season and then we go for Howe after one season and then to any flavour of the month...

Pochettino's done enough to enter the summer market and next season with us no matter if we make Europe or not. We need the miles and not the accolades.

Still haven't warmed to him but the market isn't giving out many better options for a manager.

Probably go into next season with Poch again and see where we are at Christmas. He really needs to sort the defence out in summer and Reece returning and hopefully an experienced head in the middle should be a big contribution to that.

Honestly I would rather we stuck it out with Lampard if we were just going to end up with Xavi in the end.

Quite like how that tweet has 3 crap prospects to suck people in, then mentions 4 others that everyone is desperate for as "also under consideration" to cover all the bases. Utter bollocks as usual.

For some strange reason they didn't throw Mourinho and Sarri into the mix for pure banter

It's a weird one because I would take almost all of these over Poch apart from Frank or Xavi. Howe wouldn't be that inspiring but he is a better manager than Pochettino.

What you have against Xavi? Curious.
