February 4, 20242 yr Ughh, it's getting difficult to defend this if I'm being honest. I don't think he should be sacked but at the same time I can't see us improving as the season progresses... The whole team from top to bottom is just not working well anymore. There was a bit of something at the start, but it's all gone since the Newcastle away game and I've barely seen a good performance from the team since then. Almost always 2nd best, the same crap players getting picked, players playing out of position. I think the writing is on the wall, I can't see him surviving the season.

He's just a man-manager who is apparently good with relationships with players, and just lets then "express themselves" on the pitch. ie. he has no idea how to set the team up or what they should do. It's all about the players solving the problems themselves. You could get away with that 5-10 years ago, tactics have evolved and he's been left miles behind Not winning the league with PSG should've been the biggest warning sign

The comradery in the trenches is all we have left. I was only having a laugh with @Gonoir Beniashile I learned a long time ago not to let Chelsea ruin my weekends.
February 4, 20242 yr Those players are good enough to be better than this, and other games. Not one player has looked better this season under him, every single one other than Palmer looks clueless. He has no idea what to do.

Even scarier if it’s true Poch didn’t want him.
February 4, 20242 yr Two 4-1 defeats in a week, really showing our level, f**k off now agent Poch, your Spurs hurting is nearly avenged #HazardnCosta

So what are you expecting Poch to dish up now, the tactics or the players simply aren’t good enough, I hope it ain’t the players as we can’t afford a new rebuild of a new team?

February 4, 20242 yr Couldn't even lift his lazy arse off the comfortable seat he's sitting in to try and instruct the pathetic side he's put out. Potter was way out of his depth, Poch is just a Spud fraud thats here for his paycheck. Can't believe he's managing us and at least this club will give me a little taste of happiness when they sack him.
February 4, 20242 yr Fully expecting Poch to say "The players played very well, the effort was there we just didn't get the luck we deserved" If this board have anything about them he'll be gone by tomorrow afternoon at the latest. Absolutely grim to watch. Edited February 4, 20242 yr by timetowaste

It's always been the coaching. Don't care what Poch says. Getting rid of him now means the season is over. Unless we bring in Jose.
February 4, 20242 yr Lost almost half our games this season. Minus goal difference. Bottom half of the table. How are we any better off than with Potter? What is he doing day-in day-out?

February 4, 20242 yr I mean he has this trash player Raheem Sterling starting every single time, plays one of world's best no. 10 prospects (Palmer) on the wright wing to accomodate a very average, very limited player at no. 10 role (Gallagher) and has a top left winger (Nkunku) as his striker. All this while a left footed, right winger (Madueke) is on the bench. Guy is clueless. No wonder he's finished 2nd in a one horse race in France. Simply one of the worst appointments we could have made.

I don't think he's going anywhere until we get to last season's Potter level bad... and that's actually looking very likely at the moment. I can see things going only downhill from here and not long before we find ourselves beyond 15th in the table.

The season is over now, Poch as I said earlier couldn’t get Messi and co at PSG to play together, we fundamentally have a good team in the midst of the Blue sh*te Poch has created!

February 4, 20242 yr Mourinho in on a 18 month contract is a no brainer. That would give us a chance in the final and he'd put a rocket up these players arse.

Because I certainly did not predict us to be this bad. I was moderately optimistic about the season back then. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
February 4, 20242 yr I honestly don’t want to keep this cycle of sacking managers but I expected more by now and I can’t see anything. He won’t be sacked because to so do would be admitting again you f**ked up and both co-wise men would need to also go as this was their choice.
