It is so tiring repeating all the reasons why we are not even close of Liverpool level. Not going to repeat them. I understand people are frustrated. We used to be more fun when we won. Yes, I agree. Not what you said though is it. Signs of Chelsea being a bit better is a world away fro Chelsea wiping the floor with Liverpool. They are right, nobody has said this at all.

Oh so you'd be perfectly happy if our results were the same as long as we played nicer looking football 😑 Having a conversation with you is like talking to a brick wall. You want a new manager but won't even entertain the thought of who that would be. You want a new manager but if I say it's because you want us to be top 4, you throw your toys out as if that's an insult to your opinion. Edited February 1, 20242 yr by bisright1

There are plenty of good managers out there both discovered and undiscovered. Xabi Alonso came from nowhere this season At what point in Alonso career do you think this forum would have been happy with us appointing him?

You just keep claiming I'm thinking something, you have no idea what my thoughts will be in 12 months for f**ks sake, it's a ridiculous discussion based on some weird little scenarios you keep inventing, it's just odd.

Maybe if you decided to actually have an opinion beyond "Poch is rubbish we should sack him" then I wouldn't need to guess what your opinions might be. I don't think it's a stretch to think that if you don't like Poch at this stage, you won't like a new manager if he hasn't improved us. Edited February 1, 20242 yr by bisright1

February 1, 20242 yr Sack Poch, Emma Hayes as our men's manager until the summer when she goes to the US. She will teach this miserable lot what it means to be proper Chels. The shame of abandoning that ball boy last night. Is not often I am embarrassed by a Chelsea group of player. Disappointed, angry, numb and, going back, delighted and happy, but truly embarrassed? No. I was with that last night. Not the loss, but that poor lad being left like that. Shame on them.
February 1, 20242 yr I completely get why people are annoyed, we look all over the place. But I believe the board have to stick to their guns on this one. We keep sacking managers what type of message is this going to send? For once we should side with the manager and give him the time he needs for the players to gel and buck up their ideas. Because I think moving Poch on at this point is not only the wrong choice, I think it will massively hurt us. Too many managerial changes in such a short amount of time, and we'll be saying the exact same sh*te next time around. I'm not buying into this "I just want to see passages of play" because when we were playing well but losing games it was all about results. We're in a rut, lets ride it out.

About now, he's massively overachieved with Leverkusen. And it doesn't seem like a fluke either, they've dominated most of the games they've played Ironically, he's using the 3-4-3 that so many thought was too defensive on here

Which is a shame. But I'd understand it. Madrid or Liverpool are his next move.
February 1, 20242 yr Incidentally, if we sacked Poch today, it would cost us about 15m. I don't think we can afford that 🙃

February 1, 20242 yr I’ll tell you straight Pochettino is lucky the axe hasn’t fell, can’t get the team to play, the team lacks a leader, JT needs implementing somewhere because, someone needs to tell these scammers that represent our beloved Chelsea, exactly what’s needed to play for us, Boehly you’ve had all our pants down, f**king do something positive and change things pronto!!!
February 1, 20242 yr 1 hour ago, bisright1 said: At what point in Alonso career do you think this forum would have been happy with us appointing him? The point where we started putting in performances and where we can see what the Manager is trying to accomplish. That is not just tactics or in game management. In my personal opinion that is just a part of it. It's more about culture and attitude. It's building a winner's culture and attitude. Everyone thought appointing Postecoglou at Spurs was a dumb idea. The sneers from the football snobs could be heard from 1000s of km away. But there is less sneering now. Because even if they dont do that well in the end, and given the thin squad that remains likely, its a clear as night follows day what he is trying to do and the attitude with which he gets the team to play. The players believe. It's not always the coach that gets them to believe. Raneri wasn't much of a manager but the players believed anyway. But this lot don't believe.... yet. And I do blame the manager for that. This forum doesn't pick the manager, we just get to comment. I sat right behind Sydney FC's best manager for two seasons when we won the A league and I gave him plenty of advice, but he never acknowledged it once.

Maybe but logically she'd (or any manager of women's teams) will have to start lower in the men's pyramid to bridge the gap. To give some perspective on just how big the gap is, Australia women's national team lost 7-0 to an U15's boys side while a 6th tier mens team have made the last 16 of the FA Cup.

Whilst I'm with you that there's a gap, and I think Hayes would be a disaster, your last point is slightly irrelevant. There would be more in common managing the women's team than managing Maidstone. The reason women's teams get thumped by 15 year olds has nothing to do with tactics, coaching, etc. it's just the physical and technical element. There's a reason why it's not automatic that a men's football manager lights up the women's game when they move the other way.

I remembered Klopp was criticized for his team set pieces defend. VVD, Fabinho and alisson came in and it just stopped magically 😂😂😂
