Problem is his interviews are always open to interpretation in several different directions LOL. His English vocabulary seems quite limited and I think he simply struggles to find the right words.

I don't know why people care about interviews so much.

Managers just waffle and never mean what they say, it's just PR or mindgames, boring. I didn't even care about it when Potter was there, it meant nothing to me. The only person who made it interesting was Jose. 

I don't think sacking him would do much good, not long term anyway. The new owners and their sporting directors took a huge gamble and it looks like a massive failure. If they were assembling a squad in advance based on Poch's recommendations like City did prior to Pep's arrival you could at least see some logic in it. Instead they just bought a bunch of young players "with potential", gave them ridiculously long contracts and then hired a manager to figure out how to turn them into a team. It's just sheer incompetence coupled with arrogance. It's almost like a fun experiment, except it cost a billion pounds and turned a top club into a circus.

Not that Pochettino is blameless in that. There's no chance in hell this collection of players are that bad and he clearly struggles to get the best out of them. He also seems to lack cojones to stamp his authority and instill some discipline, the team looks disjointed and loses shape and heads way too easily.

Kova and Kante too, a half fit Kante will give you a tone more than what we are getting now as would Kova.

It is a critical error. Even not keeping some of the 24-28 year olds with prem experience, who were already settled in the club. Bizarre. 

Too much too soon, and without the knowledge, understanding and foresight to see the issues last season with a massively bloated squad, and then to see the issues this season with having such a young, inexperienced, and raw squad.

Mistake after mistake with this lot.

It's not even the mistakes, because even seasoned owners can make mistakes.

For me it's the arrogance they have approached everything with. 

Can't remember where I saw it but I once read of how Roman consulted key people I football before he even bought the club and how he watched game after game to understand what was actually going on and understood every facet of the game before he even bought the club.

It's no wonder he never talked about a 4-4-3 formation.

Hmm, you give their knowledge of football too much credit. They don't know what a new manager bounce is. 

They will ride it out to the summer at least. We still have games vs Burnley and Sheff United to come, we will get to the magic 40 and be safe.

This season at least.

I have zero faith because to do this means that they have to admit they keep making mistake after mistake.  @abister1 above mentioned arrogance and this is exactly why we will not get out of this mess easily, ARROGANCE!!!

If he goes into any other job this season in this league apart from a handful of clubs I think he improves them and gets results. The job he's had is tough because of many reasons that we've gone over endlessly on this forum.

I think he's a good manager but now I am pretty sure he's lost the fanbase and the dressing room. Some may see it as a bit silly but if your most experienced players family member calls for him to get sacked you can't imagine he's been saying good things about the manager. If your senior pro is not happy how are the young players going to be with him?

We need a manager who has a clear way of playing and a system, they can't over think they just need to get these players playing the way he wants to play and build confidence. It doesn't matter if we win, lose or draw for the next season or two, we need to see progress which is the most important thing.

I dont want to be Poch out but with what I just said I think he needs to go and the players need a fresh face.

The one thing that needs to change in all this is the project. We're going to have to sacrifice a lot of our academy players for pure profit due to the mistakes made by the board but if we do sign more players they need to be ready compete.

Same here probably.  I would bomb Winstanley and Stewart  get a proper elite Sporting Director who could then check out Slot and identify whether he ticks all boxes.
