Man Utd v Chelsea (PL) Thur 25th May 2023 20:00 GMT

The finishing is still abysmal and the play in the final third is laughable, but other than that and the giant holes leading to counter attack after counter attack and 2 preventable goals, that was about as decent a first half we’ve had since our last match.

Lamps has picked a team most of us were happy with, bar Havertz.

If you see the reaction of Enzo when Connor misses, or Madueke when Fofana misplaces a simple pass, that speaks volumes.

Not a team at all. Good players? Maybe, we will find out under Pochettino, cause most are being outshined by a kid named Lewis Hall.

Okay so we're sh*t. In fact we're not as good as sh*t.

In fact we're so sh*t that if sh*t was capable of having a sh*t, we would be the equivalent of the great great great grandchildren of sh*t, the son of sh*t.

But....

With a proper manager, a proper level of fitness, a focal point of the attack and a commanding keeper to spread confidence in the back line, there is definitely more than enough quality in these kids.

If we were watching Hall, Carney, maybe Madueke and Enzo in that Brighton team last night we'd be purring over them.

We definitely have all of the parts, they are just in a horrible condition and not linked together at all.

The sad thing is, this is one of those games where Utd are not great and the 2-0 could easily be overturned but not with or finishing - not in a million years.

It is going on 6-8 months since I cared how we did on the football pitch. MU scoring that second didn't hurt one bit.

I have been in this mode since about December
