Not sure which podcast I listened to... probably At the Bridge pod and I think all of them wanted to keep Jackson in their keep sell loan thing. Not sure this is a stuff of a contrarian. If he has goal contribution in 50% of his games not sure we should actively try to get rid of him.His two red cards are playing too much in this anger people here have with him.Again if we get a massive fee of him fine. People for some reason are way to angry towards himYeah, because nobody had any issues with Jackson before those two red cards. How about his constant sh*tty attitude? Picking up needless yellow cards. Being a whiny baby when he is subbed off after yet another sh*tshow of a performance. How about all of those easy chances he has missed or those times he should pass to a teammate but shoots instead? I've always said that if you were to put Jackson in a side outside the top 10, he would struggle to score 5 goals a season. The guy has been massively carried and should feel incredibly lucky to even have two major winners medals to his name.If Jackson had started that Club World Cup final against PSG ahead of Pedro, we would have found it a lot harder to win. Movement, reading the game, finishing, Pedro had all of that, Jackson would have messed it up, like he has done countless times. Palmer's second goal was everything we have been missing with Jackson in the side. Pedro makes the run which gives Palmer space to get his shot away, Jackson doesn't have the football IQ to understand that kind of thing.I will also say what I always say, stop watching the stats! Sterling had 26 goal contributions in 47 games in his last season at City, but guess what? I never wanted him. I never wanted Sterling at his peak either, because stats aren't everything.

July 28, 2025Jul 28 Jackson is a valuable member of our squad but if a significant offer comes in i guess we will just have to let him go. A pacy striker with double figures for goals in both of the last two seasons is gonna be tempting for some. A young developing player with plenty of Premier League experience. Newcastle would be wise to formalise the 65mill offer sooner rather than later or they could miss out. Edited July 28, 2025Jul 28 by OneTommyLangley

Just a thought - maybe a good idea to get admin to delete those nasty negative posts about him until he's sold - just in case the SD's of other clubs research their potential new signings like ours do. July 29, 2025Jul 29 I’m just waiting on the striker merry go round kicking off. I think Jackson will be a part of this.I think he’ll end up at Villa or Newcastle.

You don't want a player because you don't like the person. So his face doesn't fit your eye-test. This is pretty much what I suspected. And I don't have any problems with it. I don't like some players faces either such as Raheem who you just mentioned but I am okay if they contribute to to the team such as Jackson have.I think he is good as being the third choice if that happens.

Jim seems intent on sabotaging any deal in order to keep Jackson at our club. That's what I keep saying! Being positive about Jackson and lamenting his possible departure will absolutely help to pull the wool over a potential buyer's eyes. Work with me, people!
July 29, 2025Jul 29 Will be heartbroken to see such a naturally talented, hard working, clinical finisher leave the club. His top professional attitude will be sorely missed in helping guide and shape our young squad as someone to look upto.At £65,000,000 he’s an absolute steal for whichever club manages to wiggle him from our grasp. Double digit goals in both seasons with such below par players as Cole Palmer, Enzo Fernandez and Reece James to play off and support him. He’s essentially been a one man wrecking crew. Some people may point to a sketchy disciplinary record but they’re missing the major contributing factor, that all comes from his unrivalled PASSION & Love for the game. One of Utd/Newcastle/Villa will be very very lucky to have such a generational talent on their books.
July 29, 2025Jul 29 Its going to be a long season what with champions league games too and we have a limited number of striker options, three by my reckoning. The cost of replacement is likely to be around 75mill. It would be daft to let Nico go for much less in a period where there is a lack of decent strikers. Newcastle Villa Arsenal and a few abroad have shown interest. Hes a decent striker or they would not be looking - not good enough for us granted, but would be ideal for these middle ranking teams. 75 mill or he stays as back up for me, unless he wants to fight his way back into contention. And who will we get to replace him? Pedro and Delap will not be enough for the whole season. Our SD's should hold out for 75mill +who else is out there and available to Newcastle Villa Arsenal and the like. ?All we need is the first formal offer and this lot above will panic and the price will rise 😎 Edited July 29, 2025Jul 29 by OneTommyLangley

July 29, 2025Jul 29 Jackson is made for Newcastle in January. Hat, scarf, gloves, snood, ear muffs. And snow shoes will probably make him shoot better. The Geordie fans are a patient lot, they will love him.

I don't want Jackson because he's a rubbish footballer, not because I don't like him as a person. I didn't really like Ashley Cole as a person when he played for us, but I loved him on the pitch because he was a brilliant footballer.

If we are incredibly unlucky and have both Pedro and Delap out injured, then one of the the wingers can take their spot for the odd game or two. If we don't sell him this season, then we won't get anywhere near the same amount next season because he will barely play.
