Nicolas Jackson - striker

Featured Replies

At the beginning he was played on the wing once or twice and tbf he looked pretty comfortable there.

He's not a striker - and he's got a lot of stick because he's been stuck there and he looks like a fish out of water.

these are your posts right? You should probably be more concerned with the continuous libel and veiled threats you post of wishing harm or wanting to do harm to a Chelsea player on a public forum. Most people have limits, clearly you dont. May I suggest you post this type of bile to X or use you're other sock accounts to support your hatred?

Im a mid aged dude, been online and enjoying forums of all sorts for years, I dont use X because it is a cesspit, but in my time using them, Ive never seen a "fan" call for harm like you do.

Just going to leave you sit in your own sh*t if that's ok. Hope you stop being such a miserable, nasty, vile c**t and find some joy in your life. Good luck searching for it.

Thanks @bluetrooper for your opinion - I have disregarded it.

Have a beautiful day - certainly better than the miserable one I wish on the braindead donkey.

Yeah - as a left winger, he was awesome...remember all those dazzling runs, taking on and zipping past his man, a flick and bit of skill here and there to make some space, cutting in and curling it top bins, and all those awesome crosses onto the head of..... oh no, wait....none of those things ever happened.

Please remind me....what postive things did he do when played out wide? Any examples to share would be welcomed - as my memory seems to have failed me.

I expect the instances will be few and far between - if they exist at all....

Instead - I imagine it will be "he worked hard, ran around and missed a sitter"

Scored and was one of our best players on left winger v Villa in the FA Cup 4th round win, in the 2-3 v Luton game was exceptional all and got an assist to Palmer's goal I think it was, rounded off with a okay performance v Palace in the league but no goal or assist.

Those were the only games he played left wing for us, by the small sample size I would say @Bebe1980 comments are very accurate. At least more so than yours which is, to put it mildly, slightly bias.

Credit for his 1 assist against Luton. I am obviously wrong - Clearly he is the new Robben.

Wonder what the opportunity costs were for not having a proper winger play in those games.

We would be losing 15-20 a season by selling Jackson. Are we really Confident that Pedro and Delap will outscore Jackson?

Delap had 11 goals and Pedro had 5 non penalty goals last season. Not exactly a big return.

It was a pretty good assist too actually if memory serves me right. You are wrong but it's fine, I don't expect you to remember 3 games of a player you dislike strongly. Not quite the new Robben but not as useless as you were expecting.

We won all the games, with Jackson playing a key apart in 2 of them, and the alternative back then was Sterling so I'm going to hazard a guess and say next to none.

If the Emegha reports are true, we want 3 strikers in the team regardless.

Unless a club offers something mad I'd be keeping Jackson until next season at the earliest.

Jackson to Newcastle hotting up. If we can get 65M+, then we should sell.

Yeah the £65m mark sounds like a sweet spot. You just hope they don’t do something silly like pricing him out of a limited market like they did Nkunku in Jan, and currently doing with Veiga. Jackson isn’t an £80m player, and no one is paying that.

They are desperate, been turned down by almost every single first and second choice targets.

They offered 90mill euros for Sesko and looks set to get around140 mill for isak.

Minimum be getting at least 80mill all in.

Come on, he’s made mistakes and had moments of madness - however he’s very young and has had to burden the full weight of responsibility for the team. Something that he should have had to do.

He can still play his part for us. Pedro and Delap are not exactly proven in the goal department are they? We’re still going to need depth.

Delap was on the pitch for 5 minutes and already looked 75% better than Jackson, he can go past defenders and can control the ball, unlike Jackson

At this stage I don’t know what’s worse, Jackson’s ‘ability’ or the degeneration of this thread.

Sell him & close this. Please.

Keep it open.. 🙂

I am enjoying the banter.. 🙂

Why though? He just bringing everyone down, imagine his and garnatcheo ruining the harmony in the dressing room, it would be awful

Jackson to Newcastle seems to be most likely. £65 million guaranteed plus add ons I reckon.

I think Nkunku will end up at Spuds as cover for Maddison’s injury.

I wonder who we will go for as Jackson’s replacement.

Explain how Jackson is bringing everyone down.

Nico Jackson is not everyones cup of tea, however his goals have contributed in some small way to us achieving a position in the premier league that avoids us playing football on a thursday night and to that end i am truly grateful. When you talk of bringing everyone down and ruining the harmony in the dressing room it is a very valid issue. However i think hes probably done more good than bad overall.

I for one will thank him for his contribution when he goes and will welcome Garnacho when he arrives, in the hope that he too does more good than bad.

He is selfish.. Doesn't care about the team at all, only himself... Toxic personality. And stupid

All true, but the bold.

Jackson being toxic would indicate it had an affect the players. The players reacted to Jackson's stupidity by finishing in the Top 4 amidst having the hardest run in, and spanked the best team in the world to become world champions.

As far as we know, Jackson wants to stay and fight for his place. The club also don't want to sell unless a wild offer comes in. Also pretty sure the genuine consensus 90% of the fanbase a few months ago was that Jackson is a good player just not one that should be starting. He's now third choice, the pressure now off of him, which in theory could have him perform better.
