We definitely need some players to strengthen that squad, especially in midfield.

The squad that boarded the plane for the USA looked like a squad that is still waiting for their big players to return because they have just had a world cup and are still on holiday. 

The problem is that was more or less everyone we've got at present.

It is a thin midfield but the youngsters will get plenty of USA preseason minutes and that’s not a bad thing.

    Yeah agreed for pre-season but once the league starts hopefully we have a couple of new additions.

    Interesting to see that Reece James is NOT listed among the squad of 29 for the USA Tour, even though the text announcement mentioned he'd be joining the team as soon as he had recovered from his illness : 

    " Reece James reported feeling unwell this morning so is not travelling as a precaution. He will join up with the squad as soon as he's better. "

    Not sure where Casadei was in the team photo that was posted, as he is shown clear as day getting on the plane. Probably went to the bathroom and nobody noticed LOL. or maybe he took the photo !

    It might go on your IP when viewing though so sign up to Nord or something for a month. Maybe a free trial to last during friendlies!

    I'm aware that these pre-season tours are mostly about making a commercial profit, but it makes me wonder whether we are repeating the same mistake from last year, when it didn't suit the players at all. Hopefully we get to see some promising signs but I'm not feeling very optimistic about this...
