Barkley always had one good month a season in the real action in fairness (October under Sarri and Tuchel, just before lockdown under Lamps). It's why I would have kept him for his last year, if he had his little purple patch last season at the same time we were being decimated by injuries that would have come in very handy.

It's a shame he never hit close to his potential to be honest because I enjoyed watching him the few times he was on song, after the first purple patch under Sarri I genuinely thought/hoped he was going up a level similar to some of the Napoli players Sarri coached.

    No idea what to expect other than the unexpected, can’t find fit defenders, midfielders bad no recognized striker. Sounds like Chelsea, and I love it!

    hopefully the summer storms roll thru and do not interrupt the game. Also want to see Colwill, Gusto, Santos, Casadei and Jackson
