Got to give him credit for that save from Son. Great speed to cover the shot.

As Roy Keane would say "That's his job".

You would expect ANY decent keeper to make a save like that. Fair play, he did save it but the guy is a clown and the correctly disallowed goal was just typical Sanchez.

He can't and mustn't be our No. 1 going into next season or we might as well write it off now.

completely meaningless as we draw the game from him being beaten from 35 yards at his near post if not for VAR.

We can't let his occasional good save distract us from his constant calamities.

Looking on a bit, with Southampton surely relegated wouldn’t Ramsdale be a shout for us ? Would Petrovic get a look ?

Sanchez gives me mini heart attacks

Ramsdale is sh*t. It would just be adding to our problems. Arsenal got rid of him because he couldn't kick a ball, what chance does he have with us? He's also poor positionally as a goalkeeper, which is why all of his saves look like worldies.

Bozo moments galore… even a 10 year won’t have played the two passes he did.. such a liability.. Titus Bramble of the goal keeping world.. has all the attributes and can have great moments but boy does he make stupid mistakes ..

I’d take Ramsdale over Sanchez, because we are not going to sign a Donnarumma, or any other marquee goalie. But hey let’s continue with Sanchez all the same.

And if Jesus did weep it wouldn’t be over a post on Shedend.

Honestly ... haven't we signed enough mediocre goal keepers already ??!!

If we aren't signing an elite GK, then next season should be Petrovic or Kepa. I'm 90% in favour of Petrovic, and I didn't exactly think he was great last season LOL, but I 'd play him every time if the alternatives are Sanchez and Jorgensen.

We own Petrovic

Reminder that we paid £25m for this guy - at a time when he had fell out with his manager, not in the team and was not wanted by his club.

Our incompetence is staggering.

I read somewhere earlier today that we also paid out £75m to agents and intermediaries in 23/24 to "facilitate" these types of transfer ... !!!

Robert Sanchez, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Djordje Petrovic am...

Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez is among the world's best goalkeepers - along with two of his Stamford Bridge colleagues - new data shows.

What an absolute joke. According to data, Sanchez is the 6th best goalkeeper in world football. (CIES Football Observatory Index)

You gotta love “the data”, you really do.

I have no idea how this is calculated and any stat that has Sanchez as among the best isn't really worth investigating but I will say that he does make good saves so this is probably why.

Granted half the saves he has to make are due to his own errors but doubt the stats here look into that.
