August 24Aug 24 A combination of everything maybe. The rest, the injury, the kick up the arse Tuchel dropping him. I think he needed it all.I think he needed the help players like Pedro, Roger’s and Estevau give him. He looked brilliant tonight.

August 25Aug 25 Absolute quality. He’s going to love the inside right 10 position, or whatever it’s called.
August 25Aug 25 Proof that Maresca was holding him back. I don't care if i'm going over the top, that front 3 on show last night is the best in the league.
August 25Aug 25 Haven't enjoyed watching a player as much since Hazard. Have watched that clip countless times from last night where he turned one way, then another, then another and totally bamboozled the Fulham players. Okay, in the end, that move didn't come to anything but what Palmer did in those few seconds, THAT is why we watch football. The lad is just sublime and I am so glad we have now got a coach in Alonso who will get the best out of talents like Palmer. Was gutted that he missed the World Cup but I think deep down, we are all happy he did. With the rest and a good holiday, a much better coach and having better team mates, including his close friend Rogers, it all helps to get the very best out of Cole Palmer and on his day, he is without doubt, the best player in the PL by far.
August 25Aug 25 Last night against Fulham, Palmer looked back to his best. Not going to the World Cup was the rest and recovery he needed. And very probably it’s given him motivation!

He inserts himself into the action when he'd be better served staying up top and operating as the outlet in big games. As a result he's incredibly easy for the better teams to stay organised and push forward. But yes unlike Saka, the occasion doesn't break Palmer. I just think for the greater good all round, Palmer needed that break. That break means Palmer will play the next tournament, I have a feeling if he'd been dragged to the world cup that could have really put a spanner in his career.

He's fine standing up top in the groups and early knock outs, but as soon as we go deep into a tournament his attitude changes and the goals dry up. All those years at Spurs may have effected him entally.14 minutes ago, dermott said:Save your strength. The ex-Cheesemeister is just being provocative. Thursday at 14:135 days What's a "safe zone"? 😂But fair to say that Palmer wasn't a big Maresca fan haha.

Thursday at 15:265 days f**king safe zone, on a football pitch, that useless bald prick set us back 2 years....
Thursday at 17:025 days A safety zone is a coned or marked area on the pitch where a player receiving the ball is immune to defensive pressure.
