December 10, 20232 yr People blame poch but the players are sh*t too no experience at all and this is what I was saying naivety is killing us
December 10, 20232 yr I could put up with this crap if we won occasionally. Folk raving about Man Ure back to form after beating us midweek. Big f***ing deal. Sc**thorpe could beat us at the moment. Dreadful

Id argue its longer than that, we started playing that way in the second half of Tuchel's second season once the injuries came and Roman was forced to sell the club. Been downward since then.

I said it on first 1-2 pages of this topic. You can't repeat a sh*it things like we need more time, when you allow Man UTD to make 28 shots for 90 minutes.
December 10, 20232 yr Fans thought a couple of good results against top sides would turn things around. There is nothing to turn around. The side is depleted with injuries fatigue and most of the players are so inexperienced. Up and down is the trajectory with a young side like ours.

Everton's was a 7/8 month turn around, and they had admitted guilt. Just hit the 40 point mark, and we can bury our heads in the sand again and pretend it will fine next season. It may not hit until next year but FFP means that we will have to sell without European football, and most likely players that have some financial value. So, what looks like an already weak squad will likely only look worse next season. I don't see much of an improvement in the next few years no matter who is managing.

The squad is talented, individually the players are good but Poch seems to have no idea how to get them to gel together, virtually any of these young players we've bought barring a couple could go to an Arsenal, City, Newcastle and look a top talent but not here because Pochettino doesn't have a tactical brain in his body. There's only so much putting your arm around a player can do but without any direction in the pitch we're going to go nowhere.
December 10, 20232 yr Author Credit to Everton. Better in every department and wanted it more. Well done to them. Goodison is a great old stadium. Love the atmosphere it produces.

There's only so much putting your arm around a player can do but without any direction in the pitch we're going to go nowhere. The players aren't talented individually. Poch has reached a CL final, won a few trophies, finished top 3 in the PL a few times he's not and never has been a top coach but he's a damn sight better at his job than all the untalented deadwood we've signed. What have players like Broja, Jackson Mudryk, Madueke, Colwill, Disasi, Gallagher etc shown in their entire careers to give you the faith that the manager isn't getting the best out of them? Poch worked miracles at Southampton, most Southampton fans didn't think Broja was good enough for them but he's supposedly a top prospect and should play for Chelsea? December 10, 20232 yr It’s doesn’t matter which coach we bring. The problem at the club is multifaceted. Problem number one is the abysmal recruiting. We had an excellent recruiting team headed by Emenalo, who spotted talent and potential. And number two the standard of players we have. To call them subpar is a compliment at this point. They’re not even championship level let alone PL level. They are more like league one level. I honestly don’t know what the next step is. The players, coaching staff, and management all seem lost in the wilderness. It is genuinely a dark time for Chelsea with no optimism and positivity in sight.
December 10, 20232 yr I think relegation is a real possibility. These players are overpaid c**ts and don’t give a f**k.
December 10, 20232 yr Big game against Sheffield United coming up. Not being over dramatic but if results go against us next weekend we're in serious sh*t and I honestly can't see our lot having the guts to get out of the rut we're in.

Thats why Poch is trying every combination and its not working. Simple we have bunch of idiots on the pitch .

You keep using the phrase 'untalented deadwood' when it isn't true. I cba with this convo because we will just go round in circles. I rate most of the players but they just aren't getting the proper coaching to take them from talented individuals to a good team and that is on Poch
December 10, 20232 yr I blame this one on Poch he decided to rest players at a difficult away ground and after losing our last match. I just got 6 points on the prediction league and up until I saw the line up thought we would win.

I would be happy to accept all defeats on the premise that a young team is learning and developing in the process. However, I do not detect any young enthusiasm, desire or any progress, in fact I can see regression and total apathy. I think coaching, training and management are at fault and the responsibility rests with Poch and his assistants.
December 10, 20232 yr Called the loss before we even kicked a ball. May scrape survival this season. Sell Enzo and James to get past FFP. We are going to be in the wilderness for a long time. Edited December 10, 20232 yr by Trueblu77
