Klopp to leave Liverpool at end of season

Featured Replies

Yeah some fans have gone over the top with their reaction but you have to understand why they’re upset. Manager for 9 years and turned them into one of the top teams in Europe.

Everybody’s reaction to him leaving says it all really, top manager. Liverpool will fall now, no chance their manager will be the same level.

its just more of there ridiculous theatrics to prove just how much more of a fan they are, it means more etc. Its all just cult like bullsh*t from them, bunch of weirdos.

A part of me wonders if part of the reason he is leaving is because he doesn’t want to go through the rebuilding process. He hasn’t struck gold with Diaz, Nunez & Gakpo. Salah and Van Dijk would also need to be replaced probably as early as next season. I won’t be surprised if Pep hangs it up end of next season probably for the same reasons. He needs to replace De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva, and his recent signings Kovacic, Nunes and Grealish have been underwhelming.

Good points and with FFP getting some teeth they need to be careful and makes it more tricky for managers deciding where to go.

This is great news!

Like all decent opposition managers, Klopp is one you can't but help admire. Fergie, Wenger, Pep................might not like them but you have to admire them.

At times he behaves like a complete Bellend - especially on the touchline or when he's interviewed and he gets all arsey. At times like that, you'd like to see someone give him a slap. But he is a top, top coach and more often than not, talks a lot of sense and is very passionate and this is going to hurt the dippers a hell of a lot, which can only be a good thing.

Nothing lasts forever. Bet City fans are already dreading the day Pep walks.

Just like Fergie, I think he's a colossal c**t, but he's the best manager in the league for me.

To go toe to toe with City for so many years and even beat them to a title is no small feat. Don't get me wrong Pep Guardiola is an amazing coach but he has an endless supply of resources and security, City could burn cash for years, not have to sell their best players and still go out and splash hundreds of millions. It's only recently they've had to calm down due to the charges.

Klopp on the other hand turned players into superstars and spent very wisely in the market for the most part. Took Liverpool to the next level who hadn't won a league title in 30 years. It's got to be respected. Just need Pep to f**k off now.

TalkSport need Jason Cundy on for moments like that. He would take the piss.

Definitely. No idea how the presenters keep a straight face when they mongs like that calling up. Always Liverpool fans too.

Now Xavi is leaving Barca too, talk about 2 lightening strikes on the same weekend. Klopp deserves a lot of credit for what he has done, but to say he's the best is outrageous, it's the kind of sh1t you expect from some former Liverpool players with half the brain cells knocked out. Pep called him one of the best rivals, which is hell of a compliment, Jose doesn't even get mentioned that much by Pep these days.

Great manager no doubt, but the amount of mourning from not just Liverpool fans but the media is beyond crazy.

I think some people are genuinely gonna be shocked he's actually still alive come August.

I don't watch MOTD much anymore, and comments I heard tonight is the reason why. They said Klopp had changed the Premier League. It's just not true.
