If I was Clearlake Capital, and given this is the 2nd time it's happened, I think I'd make a strong statement blame some of the problems on him and just kick him out 😁

Seems to me another Jorginho who pulls the strings behind the team. Jorginho always went to Marina when he was on the bench.

Regardless of the sentiment and what is the appropriate behaviour by players and WAGs sorry but I can never take anything Chris Sutton says about behaviour seriously. Having publicly refused to play for his country when called up he rightly earned the international career he deserved, the wilderness. He has no room to cast judgement on attitudes and behaviour in others.

An alternative read on her post is that she's egging Thiago on to retire. 'This is bollocks, why do you bother? Also this country is wet, cold and has terrible food.'

When Tammy's misses went public everyone went nuts.... Love Silva's attitude but it's been painful watching him decline and not know when to retire. the fact he cant play in a four says his race is run, has been since the second season with us. We shouldn't be considered a retirement home, I thought it was massively off last season when he went public, should have just kept his wife muzzled. Any other players come out in the past and said this sh*t cause im struggling to remember and why would they stay after being critical 

When either you or your family criticise your employers, who sponsor your visa and home and pay you millions a month, its time to f**k OFF.

It depend on what is the plan for the future though.

The plan right now is clearly to sign player before Brighton which is what we are. I remembered a lot people praised us 😁😁 implementing that strategy. It is funny how this kind of stuff only work in football manager, in reality if you implement Brighton strategy, you will be Brighton

😂 The fact that you believe that an article in which Chris Sutton condemns Belle Silva’s post  is a way of proving your point that Thiago has some sort of vendetta against us, is all the reason I need to not take this discussion further.

No one can argue that her posts are anything but disruptive and unhelpful. But a claim that they are part of a wider conspiracy and on Thiagos behalf is pure speculation

Can you sit on the fence? I mean, you can, obviously but sitting on the fence just doesnt seem right.  I think the players have to take some of the responsibility, but these players are children mentally and so they get a pass. So Mauricio takes the burden.

I think Mauricio has been trying his best with the players/squad he has.  I think if we had older more professional players then you could bring in a Jose or a Conte to give them a kick up the arse and get them motivated to the hilt. But with the delicate little wallflowers we currently have in the squad it just won't work imho. That solution wouldn't work.

change is good. but change for the sake of change is pointless. 4 managers last season. Chaos.

So the solution we have left [imho] is to remain on course and we will get more of the same.  sigh.  4-4 with Man city was a good game.  2-4 with Wolves was abysmal.  There is still a fluke of a chance of winning a trophy. IF by some miracle we can beat the bin-dippers in the league cup final then we could even call the season a success. It is a funny old game.

Thiago Silva is committed and loyal. End of story.

I voted in, Poch needs a chance to change things, his management or teams he has picked has got us to a cup final.

Things on the ground might prevent this re crowd  reaction or something else yet more outgoings paying off another manager and his team will mean we have less money for player purchases.

We are really in a fix.

Personally thought we should have bought Rice when we had the chance rather than other more recent purchases.

Think we will lose a number of players at cut down prices this summer. 

 

 

I want to say in 2 weeks he'll be gone, as I cannot see us beating Villa in midweek or putting up any respectable performance against City at the Ethiad. 

Final nail could be league cup final though.

It is logically, and the briefings from the owners are already out there to their usual media sources of Poches training not inspiring, players not understanding or willing to use data to help, Poch being difficult to work with and not liking to collaborate with directors etc.

All face saving stuff to put all the blame on Poch and make the owners and directors look like Saints.

Don't buy it, they are killing our club.

I hear the current Chelsea lads can be it a bit of handful. They stay up all night on their play stations without proper discipline.

Reading those names, i would stick with Poch until the summer at least.  After we lose the League cup is when Mauricio will be at his most vulnerable to being sacked.
