If we are doing Poch in or out after every game, last night was an in. It's been years we didn't let City took took 3 points against us. I think after Potter, we should be weary of another Brighton Manager.

Im amazed someone hasn't put up another post asking whether poch in or out. I want him here until end of next season. Let him have the two seasons. He is starting to get a tune out of the players.

As for De Zerbi. let the dippers or united have him, Brighton cant defend and have had wallopings all through the season. limited impact manager who has been found out at premier league level. It's bad enough we're now being linked with Davis the striker from there who has had an awful season. Brighton is CFC's sex dungeon fetish club... Sick of it. 

 

 

At this point we may as well give him til the end of the season but I'm still swaying towards sacking him in the summer.

If it was up to me he'd have been gone already but we're nearly in March and the chances of us bringing in a manager we're likely to target is pretty slim unless it's someone without a job like Jose or Flick which I think are unlikely. So at this point of the season if it's a choice between keeping Poch or having an interim manager we may as well just give Poch the season to see if he can show he isn't tactically inept and can improve our young players. After the interim situation of last season it probably wouldn't be the best route to go down.

Brighton have actually conceded less goals than us, and scored more too. All with a vastly inferior squad and juggling Europa League games.

 

Though I do agree with giving Poch till the end of the season, we have seemed to turn a corner.

I think after spending £1 billion on a squad that had just finished 3rd, it really couldn't have gone much worse

 

Though I do think our squad is a lot better than 10th, and a lot is down to the manager

I'm not saying the board have done a good job, or the manager, far from it. But it could definitely be worse, much worse. 

Tuchel lost again today to Bochum. First time they have lost 3 games in a row since 2015 and they are now 8 points behind Leverkusen. And this despite having Harry Kane who today became the fast ever player to reach 25 goals in a season, achieving it in 22 games and beating Halaand's Bundesliga record.

Sometimes it is down to the players, sometimes it is down to the managers. Always it is down to both.

Sometimes it's down to another team just having an incredible season, like Leverkusen are. 

Bayern actually have 4 more points than they had a the same stage last season under Nagelsmann :-) 

Before the season started I would have been pleased with just getting 7th.

Now as things stand we are 3 points off Europe (7th), still got a final to go and we are in the next round of the FA Cup that history suggests we will also make the final of. No reason to sack him and if we win one of the cups and get 7th spot I would be happy to keep him for another season. 

Should see the season out at this point. Will take a lot for me to think he should be here next season though despite the good showing at the Etihad, even if we do beat Liverpool.

Tuchel should not be one of the options to replace him though but there are going to be good managers on the market this summer.

Second season and Brighton are performing worse than last year. We've conceded one less goal than them. 

No thanks, Keep Poch about until the end of his contract and we won't have to worry about FFP on him.

Don’t forget that Tuchel was also the one that wanted Sterling!

The manager merry go round will be interesting in the summer:

- Bayern

- Barca

- Liverpool 

- You could even throw in Man United with new owners. 

Sundays result will probably see a large swing towards Poch in or Poch out.

I know several of our fans are desperate for us to win just to rub Spurs fans noses in it *cough* @just*cough*.

Pretty sure we had posts to that affect soon as he was appointed.

Just win the cup on the weekend, and we could close this thread until next season.
