Wouldn't put it past that weasel to lie through his teeth to gain an advantage.

Poch could get his own back and say James, Fofana, Badiashile and Lavia will be available. Only it wouldn't fool anyone would it?

Rarely go to matches anymore but I have a ticket for this one so really expecting a 6-0 Chelsea win.

Three goals and three assists against them (all for Man City). In twenty-one games though, so not a brilliant record...

If it's any consolation he only has four goals and two assists in games against us (twenty-two games), and half of those were in the 6-0 loss to Man City under Sarri!

He was playing against prime Azpi throughout most of that time though. Barely anybody got the better of him in 1v1 defending.

Oh my god, I'm defending Sterling

I give us a similar chance as Luton

That's fair. We are a better side that Luton, but Liverpool will have a much stronger side for the final.

The main message from the Luton game is that injuries are irrelevant. You have to beat the 11 guys on the field opposing you and those 11 guys will play like demons what ever their names are.

And yet they are completely beatable. If the 11 we put on the field play at their best level as a team we can match them in every department and exceed them in the midfield.

ESPN running a piece of "can depleted Liverpool COMPETE with Chelsea". Lmao if it was Jose MK 1 Chelsea fair enough, but this is ridiculous.

You can't be suggesting that Liverpool and the media are exaggerating the extent of their injury troubles?

I wonder which team I will get closer to predicting the starting 11 on. Done Poches already, now for Klopps.

Kelleher

TAA

Konate

VVD

Robertson

Mac Allister

Endo

Szoboszlai

Salah

Nunez

Diaz

Looks very plausible (given my in-depth knowledge of their treatment room/ asthma wing).

This is the problem that we’ve got - we can’t finish or kill games (particularly against the big teams). Luton went 1-0 up but didn’t kill them off. Liverpool have enough match winners to turn a game.

Klopp to cry after losing final = a given

Have you ever watched a Bilal Zafar Hot Peppy twitch stream? You’d fit right in with those insults.

Praying we can win this. It's gonna be tough as the dippers seem to have goals in them whoever is playing but Jota being out is a big boost for us.

We all know if we play well we CAN win this. Just thankful if it does go to penalties we won't have the clown Kepa to f**k things up.

I have to say this has been an outstanding expectations management campaign from Liverpool.

"In the three weeks since we trounced them, Chelsea have significantly improved/changed as a team. You can see that based on the subsequent run during which they won two games out of four, including a dismal home defeat against Wolves after which they were roundly booed off the pitch. Also we nearly have as many injuries as they do! We're only nine league positions and twenty-five points ahead of them so I am baffled at the idea that we might be considered massive favourites. It's also not like we've beaten them in two domestic cup finals since they last beat us at all three years ago."

Brilliant.

"We have to see [who will be fit for the final], but I said it before the game [against Luton] as long as we have 11 players we will go for it," Klopp said.

"Will we be big favourites? Definitely not.

"Since we [last] played them [Chelsea], they have improved a lot and it will be tricky. This was exceptional tonight."

I know it's only the Carabou Cup but this feels like a game changer. Win this and the whole narrative around the club could change.

Silverware to win here, and this cup has 3 handles! Nothing to be sniffed at.

I don't think he was aware then of how good he is.

Could be, what does that say for his GK coaches though if they thought he could not even be trusted for Blackburn in the league cup though?
