The problem we have is that we do lots of small sided games, and pattern, with intricate passing drills, throughout the week in training. The problem is its us defending these and our press his half hearted and weak.

So when game time comes we implement Plan A, and some of these patterns and drills come off and we get a lead. Then the opposition have to step up and press us harder and of course we then crumble because we have no idea how to deal with it,.

Why blame players, we obviously switch to a sit and counter team with a lead, we do it every game. Sit and counter in a 4-2-3-1 were outside backs need to get up and down the kills shape, bound to be caught in transition. Need either build up to get full backs forward, or 4 quality fullbacks to sub position.

Who is on the pitch? Who is responsible for wrong passes and bad play? The WWE???????????????????????

Jesus it’s impossible for this team to play out a game or take the sting out of a game without completely f**king up.

I understand keeping it simple till half time with only 10 minutes to go but not with this team.  Remember Luton 3-0 up an we still can’t have an easy game .

£200m+ for this midfield.

Cant even play out of the back, so have to lump forward for Dan Burns and the rest of the units to head it away.

Surely the players can not be this bad?

Sterling 300k a week just stealing a living.

No joy at the club now, this ownership have drained the life out of it. Fans arent even bothering to boo anymore. This is our new reality.

There were, Enzo and Gust both poor but it was ultimately Chalobah who could have cleared it but gave it to Newcastle on a plate. He is always a mistake waiting to happen, although he's not alone there!

sh*t show all round to be fair. I'd say Enzo and Gusto equally responsible to Chalobah. All three were dreadful.

I'm not sure we do. If we did then we would be able to problem solve on the fly and find a solution to play through Newcastle. This is a million miles from how we played out under Sarri. Either the players are of so poor technical ability, that they cam not be coached to do it, or Pochettino isnt able to coach it into them.

Also if we win and and massive IF it will be just papering over the cracks

I agree and it scares me tbh. It just buys him time and buys more mediocrity. Shame to not be able to properly enjoy a win because of this.

Our build up structure isn't good, it makes mistakes more likely

Compare how we used to build up under Tuchel, or how Arsenal/City/Brighton build up today

Or perhaps the team are growing very slowly and Poch is getting us there.

Not that I believe it at all but it’s better than all doom and gloom I guess.

We turn into prime Barca whenever Poch's jobs on the line

I wouldn't go that far.

In Palmer and Gusto we have definite quality and Gallagher will always give !00%. The ££££ midfield two MUST start doing better and we can't be starting too many games with these two CB's who are just not good enough at this level. But there is room for at least some optimism.

Its atrocious. I know we have a load of injuries, but Gallagher Enzo Caicedo Disasi Gusto and Pertovic have been fit pretty much all season, if the work was being done on the training ground, we would see it through them.

Pochettino is probably the worst tactician we have had since Avram Grant. PnP at Spurs with Kane.
