It was always going to be a risk taking on a B rate championship manager with 2 years experience. 
 

So far, I have no idea what he’s trying to achieve. Theyre slicing through our defence with ease. Some good attacks, but looks erratic with no real rhyme, rhythm or balance. The players look pretty clueless, but they will have to start buying into his ideas pretty quickly, that only happens by winning games pre season or not. 

I like the look of Guiu though, hope we don’t loan him

Bit difficult to play a pressing style of football when none of these lazy pricks actually press.

Reece's given 5 better corners this pre-season than we had last 5 seasons. Encouraging.

A few of the players that have had long term injuries barely look like professional footballers right now. Watching Lavia, Fofana and James trying to run is painful.

I get it's just a pre-season friendly but for for crying out loud.  There is absolutely no cohesion between any of our players.  It's just a 'team' of 11 individuals with no idea what they are meant to be doing.
