Another penalty to Sporting.

Hate that United are getting Amorim. Hopefully they remain enough of a circus that the job becomes impossible for him.

I think there is recent example of how a club that has had an expensive recruitment nightmare will struggle to overcome it in a generation.

It is worrying that Amorim looks competent and also that this former Coventry player we were linked with has now shown enough that he’ll get far more attractive offers than from us. So Jackson remains our new B&M Bargains Drogba.

It all depend on their signing

United was on their way up under ole until they nuked everything by getting cr7.

Then ten hag spent his tenure making A**x n his Dutch friend rich by signing so many A**x n Dutch player.

Mbappe failing to take his chances, Morata takes a gift and CFC old boys step up like Pulisic, Tomori and even Rudiger scores a cracker yet cruelly ruled offside, is Carlo now on the edge of the precipice,

On the other match, Haaland how many chances do you need?

This new champions league format is very good.

I'm still not sure. It doesn't feel punishing enough. PSG, Real Madrid, they have both had poor starts, but they can easily recover and finish in the top 8. If they don't, I think they will still get through in the play-off.

The intensity of the games has much improved. The pace of the game is closer to the EPL and the top teams, especially English ones, have suffered because they can no longer coast through the first half of the CL season.

I think it's the opposite, there is a possibility all those teams don't get pass the first hurdle. When was the last time Real haven't reached the knock stages of the CL, I can't remember. This is more punishing because you are playing 8 different teams, so you can't just plan for 3 teams in the old format and know what to expect.

It's far more intense now and far more difficult for so-called big teams to progress.

The last two teams to beat Real in the CL at the Bernabeu were Chelsea under TT (3-2 - astonishing game) and Chelsea cast-offs (3-1 this week).

Quite right too and that was the knockout stages at this rate they probably won’t reach the knock out stages.

You know the new format is working when Arsenal fans are complaining about it 😂😂😂

I don't know who it is...what did I miss!

I have no idea either and the wording of “Boss” makes it vague. You don’t know if it’s a manager or owner.

Anyway I didn’t know David Sullivan went to prison and was in the porn business.

Yeah I was just reading about him.

Most of his ex's have been pornstars including his kids mum and his current girlfriend.

Was a millionaire from the sex industry (mostly sex shops) from a very early age.

“Managers roles have been diluted a lot… Ultimately, I still think the manager should have his finger in every situation. "

This is the quote from moyes and this is the reality of current football.

This is not about which approach is right or wrong, I personally think it is better to have more consistent approach than changing your approach everytime you change manager.

But this also mean SD is becoming more important or probably more important than manager.

I said it when we fire poch, it really doesn't matter who he hire as long as he is not crazy. The fact that arne slot is doing well with pool also doesn't surprise me, I fully expected pool to be title contender this season.

Tactic, system whatever is important but squad building aka player is by far the most important.
