Jadon Sancho

He's been poor in the PL under different managers. It's time to accept that he isn't going to make it in this league, maybe back in Germany, Italy or Spain he'll be a top player.

Sign him up.

Like much of our attacking players his G/A is skewed by 2 factors:

  • Lack of a recognised striker

  • Lack of an attacking system implemented by the manager.

Transfer fee aside, we get any of Gyokeres (unlikely) Sesko (also unlikely) Delap or Cunha in the summer and he easily hits double digit A’s

We sack the Bald One, replace him with a Manager with a footballing brain and a LB/RB that overlaps and not inverts and you’ll see space open up for your LW/RW to actually take a shot as happened on Sunday.

To trash him for his record in the Prem when he’s had to ‘assist’ the likes of Nicholas Jackson, Anthony Martial & Rasmus Hojilund whilst being managed by Solskjaer, Ten Haag & Maresca in comparison to his time at BVB when he had Haaland, Alcacer & Füllkrug to supply being managed by Favre and it’s Night & Day.

Sancho isn’t the issue, the lack of a Striker (which will hopefully be addressed in the summer) and the lack of a capable manager (which will hopefully be addressed in the summer) are.

Spot on. Some people on here have a really odd way of criticising fundamentally decent footballers - albeit ones who have struggled to deliver for chelsea and struggled for consistency here....whilst giving ridiculous levels of support and leeway for others.

Sancho, Felix, Nkunku (pre- funk) and Neto are the biggest recipients of the OTT complaints. The Donkey is the main benefactor of the continued support - which is ridiculous given his continued and prolonged body of evidence that shows how inept he is.

Sancho for 25 million is a steal for us at the moment.

This, this is one of our transfer strategy.

Tosin is just ok but for free he is 🤑🤑

We don't really need Sancho but for 25m, he is a bargain.

How's Felix doing in Milan, buddy? Surely he's kicked on at his 6th club and dominated like we all know he can?

Don’t know - I don’t follow Milan.

Could certainly do with him here though.

It didn’t help for any of the others though bar Cucu!

No but I'm sure I'll be reminded how great he has been this season with some stat charts at the end of the season while he has been stat packing against Europeans best teams. Let's see how he gets on for the rest of the season before people get excited ffs.

I don’t think anyone is getting very excited at all, just that he seems one of the best out a very bad bunch at the moment!

Some people are getting excited enough to want to sign him up, and that was before the last two games. I’m trembling at the thought of an attacking force of Sancho, Felix, Neto, Jackson/Nkunku starting next season.

The Jadon Sancho situation says so much about BlueCo. and their aspirations.

To have a clause that even considers a 15th place finish with options is very negative from a footballing perspective.

Also their continued appetite to buy him regardless of his form must surely be based on their bizarre overconfidence in his new value.

We are not exactly the sharpest dealers in the transfer market, with all due respect to our Sporting Director geniuses.
