Alejandro Garnacho

I really like that Alonso has come in and would have seen some of the half hearted displays had reports from within the club re attitude and performance and shown him the door.

Gaffer indeed.

Joao Felix played 1,306 minutes in the league for Chelsea. 5G/A.

Garnacho played 1,268 minutes in the league for Chelsea. 5G/A.

Stop trying to twist it, they were both sh*t in equal measure.

Second spell, Maresca considered Felix as a no.10 and could not get in the team. Because of how bad our wingers were and lack of options, Garnacho got a lot more minutes than he should have.

Saudi is not a quality league at all but he is has completely blown that league away. The talent is there. Garnacho, I genuinely don't see any talent at all. He can't take on a man, is weak AF, attitude stinks, can't dribble, cannot shoot. He is sh*t. I stand by my comments about Felix. Garnacho stole a living as a footballer for the past 2/3 seasons.

Joao Felix didn’t get many minutes in his second spell because he was absolutely dog sh*t.

I'm going to be pedantic towards Romano here - I must have missed where Alonso confirms anything. "Hopefully" doesn't indicate anything with certainty, and "best possible way for everyone" is deliberately vague and could be interpretated in different ways... Garnacho encased in concrete and dumped in the sea would be the best possible way for me, but I don't really care as long as we get a left winger better than him and Gittens. Just Romano grifting his grift.

I guess "Alonso hints that Garnacho could leave Chelsea at some point" wouldn't get the clicks.

A lot of talk and it's been made clear he isn't wanted, but like the Fernandez transfer there's ultimately no concrete buyer.

The only thing seemingly true is the Roma interest, which we now know to be merely a loan.

€5m loan with a €35m mandatory offer to buy. Don’t know why our lot are setting a £50m demand for an overseas transfer.

We're trying to stoke a bidding war, don't knock it personally.

I'd be happy him going out on loan for a decent - not £5m - fee. I think he has every chance of doing well in another league, especially the italian one.

I had hopes that Enzo F would have whipped him into shape. The boy needs a serious slap round the face. The talent is there, he has a higher ceiling than Gittens imo. But he's just not applying himself.

Maybe Serie A sorts him out.

I do wonder whether Alonso came in has said something similar to James, "those that you have to persuade to carry the bricks"...which might be also why Cucurella went, why Garnacho is going and why Enzo was on the chopping block - but reluctantly staying as no one will pay his book value.

Saying that, I still think someone might come in with a big offer for the latter if the Argies win the world cup.

The Enzo market, at anything like the price they want, is very very very limited. Maybe PSG and the top couple of La Liga clubs. And RM have already said no.

I think getting him out the door is the priority, so long as we get the money back we gave united, no issues whatsoever, brilliant move for both parties and probably a good move for Garnacho to rebuild the rest of his career away from the premiership. There will be no bidding war, perhaps a german club might be tempted.

Enrique and Enzo Fernandez? You are having a laugh. You don’t spend £120m on a player to bench them, and he isn’t starting ahead of Vitinha, Neves or Ruiz. He is a SS masquerading as a DLP.

I was merely pointing out the economics. And the impossibility.

Sadly, I think Alonso was doing damage limitation for Enzo and the club yesterday which isnt a great start or look for me.

I think he will be here for the season, another year will bring his value down and more likely to give someone a chance to sign him.

Under the circumstances, hard to know what other choice Alonso had. Dump on him? Even a neutral response would have stuck out. Enzo's book value seems to be between 60m and 70m. If they want rid, they will need to be more realistic. But, as a Boehly signature signing, that means a climb down. Can't see it.

Yeah and he can still tout his tickets.. everything about the club hierachy makes me f**king feel sick.

Anyone know anything about this Kone of France? A good 'market opportunity' to strike a deal with Roma and GashNacho going the other way. Not sure we need that profile even if he's a good player though, but it looks right out the BlueCo play book. What's the odds this link happens?
